p The high intensity of vehicle traffic on highways has an impact on the decline in the quality of road pavements especially on surface AC-WC layers. To improve mechanical resistance and road stability fillers are needed to fill the voids between aggregates. However conventional cement fillers contribute high CO emissions. Meanwhile cockle shell waste continues to accumulate and pyrophyllite remains underutilized in road construction. Therefore alternative fillers are needed to reduce cement usage in AC-WC mixtures. This study analyzes the performance of AC-WC mixtures using cockle shell powder and pyrophyllite as fillers based on Marshall parameters. This study has the following objectives (1) to describe the characteristics of the AC-WC mixture using cockle shell powder and phirophyllite as fillers (2) to analyze the performance of the AC-WC mixture using cockle shell powder and phirophyllite as fillers against Marshall parameters (3) to analyze the performance of the AC-WC mixture using cockle shell powder and phirophyllite as fillers in terms of the residual strength index (IKS). The research method was carried out by means of laboratory experiments starting from testing the materials that make up the AC-WC mixture including aggregate asphalt and filler. After that test objects were made to determine the optimum asphalt content (KAO) using the Marshall test with asphalt content variations of 5% 5.5% 6% 6.5% and 7%. Then the KAO value obtained was used to make test objects using a combination of cockle shell powder filler phiropylite cement with a percentage of (0k 0p 100s 12.5k 12.5p 75s 25k 25p 50s 37.5k 37.5p 25s 50k 50p 0s). Continued determination of the optimum filler content (KFO) continued testing to obtain the IKS value with immersion for 30 minutes and 24 hours and finally data analysis. The results of this study are (1) the characteristics of the constituent materials in the form of coarse aggregate fine aggregate filler and asphalt tests meet the general specification (2) the performance of the mixture against Marshall parameters namely along with the increasing content of the filler powder of the cockle shell and phirophyllite the stability and MQ reach a peak at a certain filler content and then decrease thereafter the flow value decreases and increases at a certain filler content the VIM and VMA values decrease while the VFA increases and the KFO obtained is 18.65% cockle shell powder 18.65% phiropilite and 62.70% cement (3) the performance of the mixture is reviewed against the IKS namely it increases at a certain filler content and decreases thereafter and all content meets the general specifications. /p
