p This study aims to analyze the analysis of the implementation of tasks on security personnel in higher education. The approach in this research is qualitative with the type of case study using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques supported by the help of the NVivo 12 Pro application. Data were obtained through interviews with the Director of Sarpras and Assets Head of Sarpras Sub Directorate Head of Section Security Guard Commander and 4 security guard members observation survey and documentation study. The results showed that the work discipline of security guards in higher education institutions is still low especially in the effectiveness of patrols physical security parking arrangements providing information and empathy. The suboptimal implementation of security guard duties is caused by regulations that are not in accordance with the conditions in the field and the absence of SOP documents the application of punishment focuses on educational coaching and the lack of consistency in applying rules and sanctions. To improve supervision a stricter mechanism is needed such as improving the main tasks of security guards standardizing security guard duties through SOPs integrating security facilities adding HT and CCTV supervisors implementing quantitative SKP and imposing strict sanctions through cutting incentives. /p
