p This study aims to understand the financial behavior of international students in Malang City focusing on their financial knowledge planning and attitudes during their studies. Using a case study approach data were collected through in-depth interviews with six students from Universitas Negeri Malang Universitas Brawijaya and Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. The findings reveal that foreign students generally possess adequate basic knowledge of financial management but limited funds are the main obstacle to consistently practicing saving and investing. Their financial planning centers on fulfilling basic needs with top priority given to accommodation and daily living expenses. Students financial attitudes are influenced by scholarship status family support and social environment with scholarship recipients tending to be more disciplined and able to save. This research highlights the importance of financial literacy and institutional support in enabling foreign students to manage their finances effectively during their studies in Indonesia. /p
