p This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the financial behavior of students at the State University of Malang. The factors used in this study are financial literacy financial attitudes and locus of control with self-efficacy as a moderating variable. This research employs quantitative data sourced from primary data. The population in this study consists of active students at the State University of Malang. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling and using Isaac amp Michael s formula 270 respondents were selected as the sample. The respondents characteristics are active students at the State University of Malang who are living away from home in rented accommodations and still receiving pocket money. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale ranging from 1 to 5. The data analysis technique employed in this study was descriptive statistical analysis using the Partial Least Squares SEM testing tool. The results of the study show that financial literacy financial attitudes and locus of control have a significant positive effect on financial behavior. However self-efficacy only moderates the relationship between financial attitudes and financial behavior. /p
