This study investigates the implementation of multimodal learning media assisted CLIL to enhance students rsquo English skills and intercultural communicative competence (ICC) in a culturally diverse Islamic junior high school in Narathiwat Southern Thailand. Employing a qualitative case study within an action research framework this study involved 30 students and 3 teachers over eight instructional sessions. The learning model was designed using the CLIL 4Cs framework (Content Communication Cognition and Culture) integrated with multimodal resources including visual texts videos and reflective writing. Data were collected through classroom observations student projects field notes and interviews and analyzed thematically. Findings indicate that the CLIL-assisted multimodal learning model effectively improved students rsquo English language skills and facilitated their progression in intercultural sensitivity as theorized in Bennett rsquo s DMIS. Students demonstrated increased confidence in using English and deeper awareness of cultural differences progressing from the Minimization to Acceptance stage of intercultural development. The study provides a pedagogical model responsive to linguistic cultural and contextual challenges in Southern Thailand offering theoretical and practical insights for ELT practices in multicultural settings.
