Web programming is a fundamental course for Software Engineering students providing essential skills for developing web-based information systems. However teaching this subject often faces challenges such as low student motivation due to limited interactive and innovative learning resources and ineffective evaluations that fail to engage students or deepen their understanding. To address these issues a flexible interactive quiz website was developed as a teaching tool. Using the design thinking model the project involved validation from two experts in content and media as well as trials with 31 students from SMK Telkom Malang. The content validation received a very good rating of 90% and media validation scored 88.53% indicting good. User testing also yielded a favorable result with a score of 80.81%. A comparison of pre- and post-test scores demonstrated an improvement from an average of 66.04% to 73.30% an increase of 7.25%. Furthermore the t-test yielded a t-value of 3.498 and p-value of 0.001. Overall interactive quiz proves to be an effective and accessible evaluation tool enhancing engagement and learning for students studying web programming.
