Memes are often referred to as a form of amusement among internet users due to the funny jokes presented in them. As they are easily shared memes are also considered as communication media. This study discovers how netizens use the ldquo Woman Yelling a Cat rdquo to interact with people for different purposes. This analysis focuses on the textual and visual aspects of selected Woman Yelling at A Cat memes using Faircoulgh s three-dimensional framework of Critical Discourse Analysis. The writer found that Woman Yelling at a Cat memes can carry three kinds of purposes 1) to convey humor based on unusual arrangements of writings found in everyday life 2) to criticize opinions in a lighthearted way and 3) to give a humorous impact by using the picture of the woman and the cat to symbolize something else. It is apparent that aside from carrying humor Woman Yelling at A Cat memes can also function as tools to deliver thoughts on serious.
