Keywords working motivation compensation employees performance The success of a company is relied on its human resource. Human resource is one of the most important things in a company. There are so many ways to get a qualified human resource. One of these ways is by giving a fine compensation to the employees. By giving a fair compensation hopefully the employees will increase their performance and as the result the company s target will be accomplished. The employees performance will be even better if the company gives motivation to them. The company should encourage the employees derived on the desire. The employees motivations in that company is also needed to be recognized since these motivations cause convey and influence the employees behavior to work hard and enthusiastic for the best result. The purpose of giving motivation to the employees is to achieve the optimal company performance. The research is done at PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang in July August 2009. The population in this research is sixty employees of Marketing Department in PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang whether the sample used is fifty-two employees of Marketing Division in PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang. The sample taking technique used in this research is stratification proportional random sampling. The data analysis used is multiple regression analysis. This research s purposes are (1) to describe the condition of working motivation compensation and the performance of employees from Marketing Division of PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang (2) to identify whether there is a positive and significant influence of working motivation to the performance of employees from Marketing Division of PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang (3) to identify whether there is a positive and significant influence of compensation to the performance of employees from Marketing Division of PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang. The complimentary variable in this research is Working Motivation (X1) and Compensation (X2) whether the restricted variable is Employees Performance (Y). The data research is got from several ways which are from questionnaire documentation and interview. The validity and reliability test is also done to examine the validity and reliability od the data got. The research result shows 30 respondents (55.3%) state that the working motivation of PT. Hero Sakti Motor Malang employees is high 33 respondents (63.47%) state that the compensation given by the company is satisfying and 37 respondents (71.15%) state that the employees of Hero Sakti Motor has average performance. While based on inference analysis technique or multiple regression analysis using 5% of error degree it can be known partially that motivation variable (X1) has t sig 945 value (0.000
