RINGKASAN Rakhmaningrum Tristanti. 2019. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan Mind Mapping terhadap Kreativitas dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa SMAN 1 Dampit. Skripsi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembiming (I) Prof. Dr. Hj. Mimien Henie Irawati Al Muhdhar M.S. (II) Drs. I Wayan Sumberartha M.Sc. SUMMARY Rakhmaningrum Tristanti. 2019. The Effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) Learning Model Assisted by Mind Mapping on Creativity and Cognitive Learning Outcomes of SMAN 1 Dampit Students. Thesis Biology Department FMIPA Malang State University. Advisor (I) Prof. Dr. Hj. Mimien Henie Irawati Al Muhdhar M.S. (II) Drs. I Wayan Sumberartha M.Sc. Keywords think pair share mind mapping creativity cognitive learning outcomes The development and progress of the 21st century requires everyone to have skills as a provision in facing the era of globalization where one of the skills needed is creativity. Creativity is needed in learning to help students remember and understand the material learned so that learning can run optimally. Lesser learning activities indirectly have an impact on student learning outcomes. One learning model that is thought to be effective for overcoming these problems is the think pair share (TPS) learning model assisted by mind mapping. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in creativity and cognitive learning outcomes of students who were taught by the think pair share (TPS) learning model assisted by mind mapping with students who were taught with conventional learning models. According to previous studies the cooperative learning model think pair share when combined with the mind mapping method will create classical completeness of student learning outcomes student activity increases and fulfillment of students positive responses. based on this it is expected that the think pair share (TPS) learning model assisted by mind mapping can improve students creativity and cognitive learning outcomes. This study uses a type of quasi experiment with reference to the pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The population in this research is all students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Dampit. The sample in this study was class XI MIPA 2 as a control class with conventional learning and class XI MIPA 3 as an experimental class with the study of think pair share assisted by mind mapping. The hypothesis test in this study used ANAKOVA with the help of SPSS 16.0 software with a significance level of 0.05. The results of data analysis showed that students with learning think pair share assisted with mind mapping had creativity 2.3% higher than students with conventional learning. In addition students with learning of think pair share assisted by mind mapping had 9.7% higher cognitive learning outcomes than students with conventional learning. Suggestions that can be given from this study for students to use think pair share learning are assisted by mind mapping as a provision in facing the era of globalization by increasing students creativity.
