Kata Kunci faktor-faktor fertilitas masyarakat nelayan Jumlah dan laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang masih tinggi merupakan masalah kependudukan yang disebabkan oleh angka kelahiran atau fertilitas yang tinggi. Tinggi rendahnya fertilitas pada suatu daerah dapat diketahui melalui perhitungan tingkat kelahiran kasar atau Crude Birth Rate (CBR) yaitu jumlah kelahiran hidup pada suatu daerah pada tahun tertentu tiap 1000 penduduk pada pertengahan tahun.Sebagian besar masyarakat di Desa Sukajeruk Pulau Masalembu merupakan nelayan dengan rata-rata fertilitas yang tergolong tinggi yaitu berjumlah 3 63 kelahiran.Pasangan Usia Subur di Desa Sukajeruk Pulau Masalembu berjumlah 1.525 jiwa dengan CBR berjumlah 4 6 kelahiran per 1000 kelahiran hidup dan CDR sebesar 2 2 kematian per 100 penduduk sehingga pertambahan penduduknya sebesar 2 6. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut perlu dilakukan pengkajian lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fertilitas masyarakat nelayan di Desa Sukajeruk Pulau Masalembu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi fertilitas pada masyarakat nelayan di Desa Sukajeruk secara simultan dan secara parssial. Selain itu juga untuk mengatahui faktor faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi fertilitasmasyarakat nelayan. Rancanganpenelitian menggunakan parameter dengan pendekatan korelasional dan metode survei. Penarikan sampel dilakukan secara proporsional random sampling dengan responden wanitapernah kawin pada masyarakat nelayan yang berjumlah 94 orang. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan tabulasi tunggal tabulasi silang serta regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara bersama-sama variabel independen berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen yaitu fertilitas. Secara parsial Pendidikan lama melaut usia kawin pertama lama periode reproduksi dan lama penggunaan kontrasepsi berpengaruh terhadap fertilitas sedangkan pendapatan keluarga tidak berpengaruh terhadap fertilitas. Variabel yang paling dominan memberikan pengaruh terhadap fertilitas adalah lama periode reproduksi dan sumbangan paling kecil adalah lama penggunaan kontrasepsi. SUMMARY Taufiq Moh. 2017. Kata Kunci Factors fertility fishing communities The high number and rate of population growth is a population problem caused by high birth rates or fertility. The high fertility rate in a region can be known through the calculation of crude birth rate (CRR) ie the number of live births in an area in a given year per 1000 inhabitants by mid-year. Most of the people in the village of Sukajeruk Masalembu Island are fishermen with a high average fertility rate of 3.63 births. The fertile age couple in Desa Masajerembu Sukajeruk amounted to 1 525 people with CBR totaling 4.6 births per 1000 live births and CDR of 2.2 deaths per 100 inhabitants resulting in a population increase of 2.6. In this regard further studies on factors affecting the fertility of fishermen in Sukajeruk Village Masalembu Island are needed. This research was conducted to describe the factors that influence fertility in fishing communities in Sukajeruk Village simultaneously and partially. In addition to know the factors that are most dominant influence the fertility of fishing communities. The research design used parameters with correlational approach and survey method. Sampling was done proportionally random sampling with female respondents never married to fisherman community which amounted to 94 people. The collected data was then analyzed by single tabulation cross tabulation and multiple linear regression. The results showed that together independent variables affect the dependent variable of fertility. Partially education long sailor first married age long reproduction period and duration of contraceptive use affect fertility whereas family income does not affect fertility. The most dominant variable affecting fertility is the length of the reproductive period and the smallest contribution is the length of contraceptive use.
