Kata Kunci Data Promosi wisata Web GIS dan Sistem Informasi Pariwisata. Masalah belum berkembangnya objek wisata di Kecamatan Gedangan Kabupaten Malang antara lain. (1) Data yang dikeluarkan oleh instansi-instansi yang terkait dengan wisata Kecamatan Gedangan berbeda-beda. (2) Pemerintah Kabupaten Malang dan Kecamatan Gedangan pada khususnya telah melakukan promosi melalui media masa seperti surat kabar dan pamflet. Tujuan dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah (1) Menginventarisasi dan memetakan objek wisata yang ada di Kecamatan Gedangan. (2) Menyusun sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis Web GIS mengenai objek wisata yang ada di Kecamatan Gedangan. (3) Mengkaji keefektifan sistem informasi pariwisata berbasis Web GIS di Kecamatan Gedangan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan didalamnya menggunakan survei yang bersifat deskriptif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei meliputi observasi lapangan serta dokumentasi. Macam data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Model pengembangan system yang digunakan adalah model Air Terjun (Waterfall model) yang dikemukakan oleh Roger S. Pressman. Produk dilakukan uji validasi oleh ahli kemudian setelah itu produk dilakukan uji coba produk oleh pengguna hasilnya kemudian dianalisis untuk mengetahui keefektifan produk. Hasil inventarisasi dan penelitian diketahui bahwa prioritas pengembangan wisata di Kecamatan Gedangan lebih mengarah kepada objek wisata pantai.Hasil perhitungan skor validasi dari kedua validator yakni sebesar 90 4% untuk ahli materi dan 92 8% untuk ahli media. Berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan keduanya masuk pada kategori sangat layak (tidak perlu revisi) tetapi masing-masing validator menambahkan saran untuk perbaikan sistem. Hasil dari perhitungan uji validitas menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kevalidannya mencapai 100%. Hasil perhitungan jawaban responden dengan jumlah 47 orang semuanya diketahui bahwa r hitung 8805 r tabel Sehingga hasilnyadari ke-20 item soal dapat dinyatakan valid semua. Uji reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa nilai valid dari 47 responden yaitu mencapai 100% sedangkan hasil perhitungan uji reliabilitas yaitu sebesar 0 782. Saran yang diajukan berdasarkan penelitian ini adalah (1) Proses inventarisasi harus melibatkan pihak-pihak terkait untuk standarisasi data yang di dapat. (2) Penyusunan sistem informasi yang berkaitan dengan Web GIS harus menggunakan data-data juga terbaru dan sesuai dengan lokasi penelitian. (3) Untuk peneliti selanjutnya sebaiknya lebih mengembangkan Web GIS untuk pariwisata terutama untuk daerah-daerah yang belum terjangkau oleh instansi terkait. (1) Data issued by the government institution related to Sub-district Gedangan government is differently. (2) The Government Malang District and Sub-district Gedangan in particular has promotion through mass media such as newspapers and posters. The purpose of this research and development is (1) Inventory and map tourism objects that are in the sub-district Gedangan. (2) Arrange tourism information system Web based GIS about tourism objects that are in the sub-district Gedangan. (3) Review the effectiveness of the system of tourism information Web-based GIS in the sub-district Gedangan. This research is a development research therein using the survey which is a descriptive. The research method used is the survey methods include field observation and documentation. The kind of data that is used is the primary data and secondary data. Development Model system that is used is the waterfall model put forward by Roger S. Pressman. The validation test done products by experts and then after that products done trial products by the user the results are then analyzed to know the effectiveness of the product. The results of inventory and research it is known that the priority of the tourism development in the sub-district Gedangan more toward beach tourism object. The result of the validation score calculation of the two validators namely equal 90 4% to the experts of matter and 92 8% for media experts. Based on the feasibility criteria both entered in the category of very worthy (does not need to be revised) but each validator add suggestions for improvement of the system. The results from the calculation of the validity test indicates that the invalidity level reached 100%. The results of the calculation of the answers respondents with the number of 47 people were all known that r count consecutive patients r table so that the results from the 20 items questions can be declared valid all. Reliability tests showed that the value of valid from 47 respondents namely reach 100% while the results of the calculation of the test the reliability of 0 782. The proposed advice based on this research is (1) inventory process must involve related parties to the standardization of the data in the can. (2) The Arrangement of information system that is associated with the Web GIS must use the data of the latest also and in accordance with the location of the research. (3) For further researchers should develop more GIS Web site for tourism especially for areas that are not reachable by related institutions. If developed further and will be able to help the local tourism promotion activities.
