Kata Kunci perkebunan Ngusri perkembangan terhadap masyarakat Perkebunan merupakan aspek yang penting dalam penunjang perekonomian di Indonesia pada masa kolonial hingga sekarang. Dari berbagai tanaman perkebunan yang dibudidayakan kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang dikembangkan di Indonesia karena masuk dalam kategori komoditi penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri merupakan salah satu perkebunan peninggalan Belanda yang masih beroperasi hingga sekarang. Hadirnya perkebunan kopi di daerah Ngusri tentu saja akan berpengaruh terhadap kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat sekitar. Penelitian ini memiliki tiga rumusan masalah yang akan dikaji yaitu (1) bagaimana latar belakang berdirinya Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri (2) bagaimana perkembangan Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri tahun 1970-2012 (3) bagaimana peran Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri terhadap masyarakat sekitar perkebunan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan latar belakang berdirinya Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri mendeskripsikan perkembangan Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri tahun 1970-2012 serta pengaruh peran Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri terhadap masyarakat sekitar perkebunan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah. Metode tersebut terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu pemilihan topik heuristik (pengumpulan sumber tertulis foto peta dan sumber lisan/wawancara) kritik (intern dan ekstern) interpretasi (analisis dan sintesis) dan historiografi. Metode tersebut digunakan untuk menyusun fakta mendeskripsikan dan menarik kesimpulan tentang apa yang terjadi di masa lampau. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan beberapa fakta sebagai berikut. Pertama Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri pertama kali dirintis oleh orang Belanda pada tahun 1879 yang kemudian mengalami pergantian kepemilikan hingga pada tahun 1970 Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri dikelola oleh PT Blitar Putra hingga sekarang. Kedua Perkembangan Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri selama dikelola oleh PT Blitar Putara mengalami peningkatan dalam hal produksinya sehingga mendatangkan keuntungan bagi perusahaan. Ketiga Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap masyarakat di sekitar perkebunan yaitu terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat Ngusri sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat. Hadirnya Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri juga mendorong terbukanya isolasi penduduk pedesaan di Ngusri karena dibangunya sarana transportasi baik dilingkungan perkebunan maupun diluar perkebunan. Seiring dengan perkembangan perkebunan kopi Ngusri maka mulai dibangun segala fasilitas desa untuk menunjang kebutuhan masyarakat Ngusri yaitu sekolah desa bendungan dan prasarana transportasi seperti jalan yang merupakan sarana yang penting dalam penggankutan hasil kopi. Adanya perkebunan juga berpengaruh dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat seperti penebangan dan pencurian pohon yang merugikan perusahaan. Disarankan untuk peneliti yang selanjutnya agar lebih mendalami sejarah Perkebunan Kopi Ngusri atau mengkaji mengenai kehidupan buruh di Perkebun Kopi Ngusri atau hal menarik lainya yang bisa membawa wawasan baru mengenai tema perkebunan. Kemudian bagi Pihak perkebunan agar lebih memperhatikan kesejahteraan tenga kerja perkebunan serta manjaga arsip perkebunan dengan baik. Kepada masyarakat khusnya di sekitar perkebunan agar tetap menjaga hubugan baik dan harmonis dengan pihak perkebunan. ABSTRACT Setiawan Ahmad Budi. 2017. From a variety of plantation crops cultivated coffee is one of the leading commodities developed in Indonesia because it is included in the category of important commodities in the national economic growth. Ngusri Coffee Plantation is one of the Dutch heritage plantations that are still operating today. The presence of coffee plantations in Ngusri area will certainly affect the socio-economic life of surrounding communities. This research has three problem formulated that will be studied that is (1) how was the background of Ngusri Coffee Plantation (2) how was the development of Ngusri Coffee Plantation 1970-2012 (3) how was is the influence of the development of Ngusri Coffee Plantation to the community around the plantation. Purpose of this research are to describe the background of the establishment Ngusri Coffee Plantation describe the development of Ngusri Coffee Plantation 1970-2012 and the influence of the development of Ngusri Coffee Plantation to the community around the plantation. The method used in this research is historical method. The method consists of five stages topic selection heuristics (written sources photos maps and oral / interview sources) criticism (internal and external) interpretation (analysis and synthesis) and historiography. That method is used to compile facts describe and draw conclusions about what happened in the past. The results of this study show some facts as follows. First Ngusri Coffee Plantation was first pioneered by the Dutch in 1879 which subsequently experienced a change of ownership until in 1970 Ngusri Coffee Plantation managed by PT. Blitar Putra until now. Second the development of Ngusri Coffee Plantation during the management by PT. Blitar Putara has increased in terms of its production so as to bring benefits to the company. Third Ngusri Coffee Plantation gives influence to society around the plantation that is opening of job field for Ngusri society so that it can increase economic income of society. The presence of Ngusri Coffee Plantation also encourages the opening of isolation of rural population in Ngusri due to the development of transportation facilities both within the plantation and outside the plantation. Along with the development of coffee plantation Ngusri then built all the facilities of the village to support the needs of Ngusri community such as village schools dams and transportation infrastructure such as roads that are an important means in transport coffee. The existence of plantations is also influential in the social life of the community such as logging and theft of trees that harm the company. It is suggested for further researcher to deepen the history of Ngusri Coffee Plantation or to study about the life of laborers in Ngusri Coffee Plantation or other interesting things that can bring new insights on the theme of plantation. Then for the plantation to pay more attention to the welfare of the plantation work and manpaga the plantation archives properly. To the community especially around the plantation in order to maintain good and harmonious relationship with the plantation.
