Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning berbantu Media Video untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Analitis Mata Pelajaran Geografi Siswa Kelas XI IPS 5 di SMAN 1 Tumpang. Skripsi Jurusan Geografi. Kata Kunci Problem Based Learning Berpikir Analitis Media Video Pembelajaran di sekolah menuntut siswa untuk berpikir analitis pada kenyataannya sedikit siswa yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir analitis. Siswa masih cenderung banyak menghafalkan materi bukan memahami sehingga kemampuan berpikir analitis mereka kurang terlatih pada pelajaran geografi. Pada pembelajaran geografi untuk melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis masih banyak ditemui kendala karena penerapan model pembelajaran yang digunakan tidak sesuai Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa pada materi Keragaman Budaya sebagai Identitas Nasional Indonesia dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantu media video. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan di kelas XI IPS 5 SMAN 1 Tumpang semester genap tahun ajaran 2018 - 2019 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini diterapkan dengan empat tahap yaitu perencanaan tindakan (observasi awal dan menetapkan serta merumuskan rancangan penelitian) pelaksanaan tindakan pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dibuat dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL berbantu media video dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMAN 1 Tumpang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa yang diketahui dari rata-rata nilai hasil tes kemampuan berpikir analitis. Pada siklus I sebesar 71 83 ke siklus II sebesar 84 20 yaitu mengalami peningkatan sebesar 12 37 dengan persentase sebesar 17 22%. Dapat disimpulkan penerapan model PBL benbantuan media video dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMAN 1 Tumpang. SUMMARY Ismaniah Cicik. 2019. Keywords Problem Based Learning Analytical Thinking Video Media School learning requires students to think analytically in fact few students have the ability to think analytically. Students still tend to memorize material a lot rather than understand it so that their intellectual thinking skills are less trained in geography lessons. In geography learning to train and improve the ability of analytical thinking there are still many obstacles because the application of the learning model used is not appropriate. The purpose of this study was to determine students analytical thinking skills development in Cultural Diversity material as Indonesian National Identity by applying the Problem Based Learning model assisted by video media. This classroom action research is done in class XI IPS 5 Senior High School 1 Tumpang on the second semester of the 2018-2019 academic year with 30 totals of the students. This research is applied in four stages namely action planning (beginning observation and setting and formulating research design) implementing actions observations and reflections. The result of the research that has been made can be concluded that the PBL model assisted by video media can improve the students of class XI IPS 5 of SMAN 1 Tumpang ability of analytical thinking. The results showed an increase in students analytical thinking ability which was known from the average value of the analytical ability test results. In the first cycle of 71.83 to the second cycle of 84.20 which increased by 12.37 with a percentage of 17.22%. It can be concluded that the application of the PBL model with video media assistance can improve the students ability of analytical thinking in class XI IPS 5 of SMAN 1 Tumpang.
