Kata kunci Penerapan Model Think Pair Share Hasil belajar IPS Sekolah Dasar Hasil observasi yang dilakukan di kelas IV SDN Baddurih Kabupaten Pamekasan diketahui bahwa guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah siswa cenderung pasif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran strategi dan pemberian tugas yang diberikan oleh guru kurang menarik. Hal ini mengakibatkan hasil belajar siswa rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share pada pembelajaran IPS dan hasil belajar IPS pada siswa kelas IV SDN Baddurih Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus yaitu siklus I dan siklus II. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan pelaksanaan observasi dan refleksi. Tahap yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Think Pair Share ini yaitu tahap pertama Think pada tahap ini siswa diarahkan untuk berpikir secara individu sebelum masuk pada tahap selanjutnya yaitu Pair tahap ini siswa melakukan diskusidengan teman sebangku dan tahap yang ketiga yaitu Share pada tahap ini siswa melakukan presentasi hasil diskusinya di depan kelas dan siswa yang lain menanggapi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dapat meningkatakan aktivitas guru dan siswa pada pembelajaran IPS tentang koperasi. Hal ini dilihat dari peningkatan aktivitas guru baik dari siklus I dan siklus II dan aktivitas siswa meningkat dari kurang baik (54%) pada siklus I meningkat menjadi baik (87 4%) pada siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yaitu penerapan model Think Pair Share dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dari yang kurang baik menjadi baik dengan ketuntasan klasikal yang awalnya kurang baik menjadi baik. Disarankan kepada guru untuk menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share karena dapat meningkatakan hasil belajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV SD. ABSTRACT Utomo Andri Wahyu. 2017. In this model students tent to be passive learner in the learning process. Further strategy and assignment teacher gave is not really interesting. As a result it made the students outcome decreased. This study aimed to describe the implementation of think pair share model in social science students in the fourth grade students of Baddurih Elementary School Pamekasan. Classroom Action Research (PTK) method and qualitative approach were used in this study. This study consisted of two cycles those are cycle I and cycle II. Each of them consisted of four stages which are plan implementation observation and reflection. Stages which implemented by using Think Pair Share model is first step stage which is Think. In this stage students were directed to think individually before they went into the second stage which is Pair. In this stage students were asked to discuss with their seatmates. The last is Share stage a stage which students presents their works discussion in front of the class and other students would respond their works. The result showed that the application of Think Pair Share learning model could improve teachers and students activity in the social science class about Koperasi. It was shown from the improvement of teachers and students activity from both first and second cycle. The students activity improved from 54% on first cycle to 87 4% on the second cycle. The students outcomes had improvement as well. The result of the study showed that the implementation of Think Pair Share Model could increase students learning outcome. Students classical achievement increased from low to high. The researcher suggests to the teachers to apply Think Pair Share learning model that is useful to increase students learning outcome especially in social science class of the IV grade elementary school.
