Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tipe Group Investigation Untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas Dan Penguasaan Konsep Tentang Perkembangan Teknologi Pada Kelas IV SDN Tanjungsari 01 Jember. Kata Kunci group investigation SD Penelitian ini berlatar belakang masalah bahwa proses belajar dan mengajar masih terpusat pada guru dan kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran tipe group investigation mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas siswa dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan dengan dua siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdapat dua pertemuan. Dalam setiap siklus terdapat tahapan-tahapan yaitu (1) perencanaan (Planning) (2) tindakan dan pengamatan (Acting Observing) (3) refreksi (Reflecting) (4) rencana Perbaikan (Revice Plan). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara observasi dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari penerapan model group investigation pada siklus I yaitu 75 7% dengan predikat Baik (B) meningkat menjadi 90 2% dengan predikat Baik Sekali (A) pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I 90 5% dengan predikat Baik Sekali (A) meningkat menjadi 96 5% pada siklus II dan hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I 71 95% dengan predikat Baik (B) pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86 6% dengan predikat Baik Sekali (A). Dari penelitian ini disarankan (1) bagi guru gunakanlah model Group Investigation sebagai alternatif meningkatkan kemampuan guru khususnya dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran (2) bagi kepala sekolah disarankan untuk mensosialisasikan hasil penelitian ini kepada guru-guru sekolah dasar (SD) (3) bagi peneliti lanjutan keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah pada saat pelaksanaan group investigation pada setiap kelompok peneliti tidak memberikan lembar kegiatan investigasi pada masing-masing siswa melainkan perwakilan kelompok disarankan pada penelitian lanjutan pada saat pelaksanaan investigasi kelompok masing-masing siswa mendapat lembar investigasi kelompok agar semua siswa bertanggung jawab atas investigasinya. Keywords Group investigation SD This study is based on the problem that the learning and teaching process is still focused on the teacher and the lack of student learning activities . The purpose of this research is to describe the application of learning model of group investigation type to describe the increase of student activity and to describe the improvement of student learning result. To achieve this objective this study was conducted using classroom action research (PTK). The study was conducted with two cycles of each cycle consisting of two meetings. In each cycle there are stages namely (1) planning (Planning) (2) action and observation (Acting Observing) (3) refrection (Reflecting) (4) Revised Plan. Data were collected using interview technique observation documentation test and model implementation instrument. The results obtained from the implementation of group investigation model in the first cycle is 75.7% with the predicate Good (B) increased to 90.2% with the predicate Good Once (A) in cycle II. Student activity in cycle I 90 5% with Very Good predicate (A) increased to 96 5% in cycle II and student learning outcomes in cycle I 71 95% with good predicate (B) in cycle II increased to 86 6% with Very Good (A). From this research it is suggested that (1) for teachers use Group Investigation model as an alternative to improve teachers ability especially in managing learning process (2) for the principal it is advisable to socialize the results of this research to elementary school teachers (SD) (3) for the follow-up researcher the limitation of this research is at the time of group investigation in each group the researcher did not give the investigation activity sheet for each student but the representative of the group it was suggested in the follow-up study during the investigation of the group Students get a group investigation sheet for all students to be responsible for their investigation.
