Abstract

ABSTRAK Rahmanto Yogik. 2017. Improvement of Social Learning Outcomes s about Fight Againt Colonialis through Jigsaw Model on Fiveth Grade Student of SDN Resapombo 05 Doko Blitar District. Bachelor Thesis Primary Education Department Elementary and Pre-School Education Faculty of Education. State University of Malang. Advisors (1) Dra. Tri Murti S.Pd. M.Pd (2) Suminah S.Pd. M.Pd Keywords model of learning jigsaw learning results the ips of the struggle against the invaders. Researchers conducted observations on grade V SDN Resapombo sub-district of Blitar Regency Doko 05 on the learning process of the struggle against the invaders IPS namely (1) the teacher asked the students to read the text of the readings not to use the media using the method of the assignment not to use the learning groups. (2) students look bored when told to read the text and working on the problem. The learning outcomes of students of 20 students only 7 students (35%) that gets a value above the KKM i.e. 70 and 13 students (65%) scored in the bottom of the KKM. This study aims to describe the application of the learning model Jigsaw and describes the increase in the results of the study IPS about struggle against Colonizers using model Jigsaw on grade V SDN Resapombo sub-district of Blitar Regency Doko 05. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach and type of class action research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles with 2 meetings of each cycle. Each cycle consists of four phases namely (1) planning (2) action (3) observations and (4) reflection. Engineering data collection done by observation test documentation and records of the Court. The results of the understanding by applying improved Jigsaw model. The activity of the teacher in the cycle I i.e. 82% with good category increased to 100% with very good on category II cycle occur an increase of 18%. Note that the activity of students in cycle I earn a percentage 78% by category and increased to 88% by category at both the cycle II occur an increase of 10%. Learning outcomes students also experienced an increase from an average of 35 classes ketuntasan and 63.7% before action to an average of 72.77 ketuntasan class and 70% in cycle I and cycle II increased again to an average of 82.05 and percentage ketuntasan 92%. Of the 20 students who completed 19 which hadn t 1 students weakened because in thinking the solution needs to be advice by the teacher. In conclusion the application of the model of the Jigsaw can increase the activity of the teacher the student activity and student learning outcomes. Suggestions to the teacher should use the models of learning that engages students in active fun group activities such as the one by using the model of Jigsaw should be more active in following student learning and for advanced researchers should be innovating and creative in applying the model of Jigsaw to optimize the activities and results of student learning.
