Kata Kunci Kurikulum 2013 Peran Kepala Sekolah SD Implementasi kurikulum 2013 mulai diberlakukan oleh pemerintah pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Implementasi kurikulum 2013 melibatkan dari semua pihak seperti pemerintah kepala sekolah guru siswa dan orang tua. Peran kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013. Kepala sekolah merupakan pemimpin dalam lingkup organisasi sekolah sehingga berperan sebagai penggerak utama dalam berjalannya sistem pendidikan di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) Bagaimana peran kepala sekolah di bidang administratif dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SD Negeri Wajak 01 Kabupaten Malang (2) Bagaimana peran kepala sekolah di bidang supervisi dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 di SD Negeri Wajak 01 Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Kedudukan peneliti dalam penelitian kualitatif ini sebagai instrumen pengumpul penganalisis dan penafsir data. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru dan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis diperoleh hasil penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah mempunyai 2 peranan yaitu peran dalam bidang administrasi dan supervisi. Peran kepala sekolah dalam bidang administrasi meliputi peran kepala sekolah dalam mengelola kurikulum dan pembelajaran ketenaga kerjaan kesiswaan hubungan dengan masyarakat sarana prasarana keuangan. Sedangkan peran kepala sekolah dalam bidang supervisi adalah peran kepala sekolah dalam memberikan bantuan masukan dan koreksi kepada guru dengan tujuan agar guru bisa memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas mengajar. The 2013 curriculum implementation demands cooperation from all sides who are involved in the education such as the government school principal teachers students and student s parents. The school principal s role is one of the important factors in the 2013 curriculum implementation. A school principal is a leader of education in the school organization area and plays as the main driver in the life of education system in the school. The purposes of this research are to describe (1) how is the administration role of the school principal in the 2013 curriculum implementation in SD Negeri Wajak 01 Malang (2) how is the supervision role of the school principal in the 2013 curriculum implementation in SD Negeri Wajak 01 Malang. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and the purpose is to describe the school principal s role in the 2013 curriculum implementation in SD Negeri Wajak 01 Wajak District Malang. The researcher s role in this is as an instrument collector analysts data commentator and in the end as a research reporter. The data source of this research is the school principal and teachers and the data collection uses interview technique and documentation. Based on that data analysis some research results are obtained they are the school principal has two important roles in the education which is administration role and supervision role. School principal s role in the administration includes the school principal s role in managing the curriculum and learning school principal s role in managing students school principal s role in managing employee school principal s role in managing infrastructure school principal s role in managing finance and school principal s role in managing relations with the society. Meanwhile the principal s role in the supervision role is a role in providing assistance advice and correction to the teachers in order for the teachers to improve and enhance their teaching quality.
