Abstract

ABSTRAK Anisah, 2018. Implementasi Perpaduan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa SMA Negeri 3 Barabai. Tesis, Pendidikan Geografi, Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing (I) Prof. Dr. Sumarmi, M.Pd, (II) Drs. I Komang Astina, M.S, Ph,D. Kata Kunci: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), Hasil Belajar. ABSTRACT Anisah, 2018. Implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to Improve Students Learning Outcomes of SMA Negeri 3 Barabai. Thesis, Geography Education, Graduate Program of State University of Malang. Counselor (I) Prof. Dr. Sumarmi, M.Pd, (II) Drs. I Komang Astina, M.S, Ph.D. Keywords: Problem Based Learning (PBL), Team Assisted Individualization (TAI), Learning Outcomes. Based on the observation of the students of class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 3 Barabai, there is a problem faced today is the low quality of student learning. The low learning outcomes of students is evidenced by the results at preliminary study, where it is known that there are 18 students (54.55%) of 33 students who have not completed. Clasical mastery is still low at 45.45 in class XI IPS 2. Low learning outcomes are indicated by the low ability of students in solving problems and have not trained students in discussions in order to be able to solve problems and able to express opinions. This factor is caused by the teacher still using the learning model that is teacher centered. The effort to solve the problem by implementing Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI). The type of research conducted is classroom action research (CAR). Kemmis and Taggart model consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Meetings on each cycle are done twice. Data collection in this study using observation sheet and test of learning result at each end of cycle. The result of the research by implementing the combination of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) showed that there was an increase of students' learning outcomes from 45.45% in pre action to 75.76% in cycle I. The result has not reached completeness classical as much as ≥80% and need to be cycled II. Results learners learners on the second cycle increased by 12.12% with the percentage of learning outcomes 87.88%. These results indicate that learning completeness has been classically achieved. Based on the results of research, researchers suggest to teachers who will conduct research to prepare tools, materials and media learning contextual and in accordance with learning materials. Pay attention to the time conformity with the created RPP. For other researchers, it should implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) models with Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) with different research subjects (students) and different learning objects (learning) to improve student learning success.
