Kata kunci dampak globalisasi hasil belajar STAD Permasalahan utama dari kegiatan belajar mengajar yang dilaksanakan di kelas VI C SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya selama ini adalah sangat rendahnya hasil belajar yang berada di bawah ketuntasan belajar siswa di sekolah. SKBM yang ditetapkan di SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya yakni 7 00 sedangkan kenyataan yang ditemui di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas VI C pada tahun 2006 yakni 5 00 dan pada tahun 2007 yakni 5 75. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan dan informasi yang diperoleh rendahnya ketuntasan belajar IPS siswa disebabkan (1) metode yang digunakan guru kurang bervariasi (2) hampir tiap tahun ajaran guru IPS berganti (3) sikap guru yang otoriter dan (4) latar belakang pendidikan guru bukan IPS/Geografi. Berdasarkan beberapa masalah tersebut riset ini berupaya memberikan solusi dengan cara menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk mencapai ketuntasan belajar dan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam pelaksanaan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS Topik Dampak Globalisasi pada siswa Kelas VI C SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Objek penelitian adalah 33 siswa kelas VI C SND Percobaan Palangka Raya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan aktivitas belajar pertemuan dari siklus I pertemuan I ke siklus I pertemuan II sebesar 11 95% menuju siklus II pertemuan I meningkat sebesar 42 48% menuju siklus II pertemuan II meningkat sebesar 25 98%. Hasil belajar topik Dampak Globalisasi mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I pertemuan I ke siklus I pertemuan II sebesar 8 02% menuju ke siklus II pertemuan I meningkat sebesar 10 67% menuju ke siklus II pertemuan II meningkat sebesar 9 76%. Indikator aktivitas belajar pertemuan Siklus I memiliki rata-rata 50 62% dan pada Siklus II sebesar 86 1%. Selisih keberhasilan pertemuan yang dilakukan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 35 48%. Persentase keberhasilan pertemuan untuk indikator aktivitas belajar mengalami peningkatan sebesar 70 1%. Indikator hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I memiliki rata-rata 69 79 dan pada siklus II memiliki rata-rata 84 26 maka diperoleh selisih tingkat keberhasilan untuk hasil belajar sebesar 14 47. Hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan hasil persentase keberhasilan sebesar 20 73%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka diajukan saran-saran sebagai berikut (1) untuk lebih meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menumbuhkan kemampuan berfikir kreatif dan ilmiah mengembangkan diri sehingga pembelajaran IPS di kelas menjadi lebih aktif efektif dan menyenangkan (2) bagi guru diharapkan untuk lebih meningkatkan profesionalisme untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada mata pelajaran lainnya sebagai pembelajaran inovatif sesuai dengan kondisi dan karakteristik siswa (3) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pengetahuan dan wawasan bagi peneliti dan (4) penelitian ini bermanfaat sebagai pedoman pengembangan pembelajaran IPS bagi stakcholder dapat memberikan motivasi bagi guru lain untuk menggunakan model Cooperative Learning tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa di SD. Key word globalization effect result of study STAD The primer problem of learning process in class VI C SDN Percobaan Palangka raya last time is the result study that very low under the student completeness standard at school. SKBM that remained at SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya is 7 00 and the reality that find its show mean of result study of students class VI C at 2006 is 5 00 and at 2007 is 5 75. Based on the observation and the information that find low of study completeness IPS caused (1) method that using by the teacher less variation (2) almost every year the teacher of IPS is change (3) the othoritery attitude of the teacher and (4) back ground of teacher education not from IPS/Geography. Based on the problems this research try to give a solution by implementation the cooperative learning of STAD to realize study completeness and graduate the result study of IPS in students. Aim of the research is to graduate result study IPS with globalization effect to students of class VI C SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya by application cooperative learning STAD type. This research doing in two cycle of learning. Object of research is 33 students class VI C SDN Percobaan Palangka Raya. Result of research show that escalation study activity from cycle I action I to cycle I action II increase 11 95% to cycle II action I increase 42 48% and to cycle II action II increase 25 98%. Result of study at IPS with globaliasation effect escalation from cycle I action I to cycle I action II is 8 02% to cycle II action I is 10 67% and to cycle II action II increase 9 76%. Study activity indicator cycle I have average 50 62% and for cycle II is 86 1%. The difference of action successful from cycle I to cycle II is 35 48%. Percentage of action successful for study activity indicator increase is 70 1%. Result of study s indicator for cycle I have average 69 79 and for cycle II is 84 26 so the difference of result study successful is 14 47 with successful percentage is 20 73%. Based on result of research than give suggestions are (1) to more graduate the student result study with graduate creative bethink skill and scholarly developing of self so IPS learning in the class come to be more active effective and comfortable (2) to the teachers hoped to more graduate the professionalism to develop cooperative learning STAD type in the others course as innovative learning by the conditions and student characters (3) to upgrade understanding knowledge and insight for the researcher and (4) this research useful as guidance of developing of IPS learning for the stakcholder giving motivation for another teacher to using the Cooperative Learning Type STAD models to upgrade the students result study of IPS at elementary school.
