ABSTRAK Karyono A. 2009. Kontribusi Status Industri Lama Pelaksanaan Prakerin dan Motivasi Belajar terhadap Sikap Kewirausahaan Siswa SMK di Kabupa ten Indramayu. Kurikulum SMK tahun 2004 telah mengisyaratkan bahwa pelaksanaan Pendidikkan dan Pelatihan di SMK bagi siswa diharuskan melak sanakan Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) di dunia usaha dan industri (DU/DI). Tujuan utama pelaksanaan Prakerin adalah untuk mendekatkan mutu lulusan SMK dengan kemampuan (kompetensi) yang diminta oleh industri. Salah satu faktor penyebab lulusan SMK menganggur adalah tidak beraninya berwirausaha. Lulusan siswa SMK Bidang Mesin di Kabupaten Indramayu yang tertampung di industri berkisar 41% dan sisanya 59% mengang gur. Tujuan SMK menurut kurikulum 2004 bahwa lulusan SMK seharusnya dapat melihat peluang kerja dengan berwirausaha. Pelaksanaan Prakerin diharapkan juga dapat membantu peningkatan sikap kewirausahaan bagi siswa SMK yang meliputi tiga faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya yaitu status industri tempat Prakerin lama pelaksanaan Prakerin dan motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan tiga faktor di atas maka peneliti mengajukan beberapa hipotesis mengenai sikap kewirausahaan dilihat dari faktor status industri tempat Prakerin lama pelaksanaan Prakerin dan motivasi belajar yang dilaksanakan di SMK di Kabupaten Indramayu Jawa Barat antara lain (1) Status industri tempat prakerin dan lamanya pelaksanaan Prakerin berkontri busi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar produktif siswa (2) Status industri tempat Prakerin berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap moti va si belajar produktif siswa (3) Lama Prakerin berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar pro duktif siswa (4) Status industri tempat prakerin lamanya pelaksanaan Prakerin dan motivasi belajar produktif berkontribusi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan siswa (5) Status industri tempat Prakerin berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan siswa (6) Lama Prakerin berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap sikap kewir a usahaan siswa (7) Motivasi belajar produktif berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan siswa. Objek penelitian adalah siswa SMK Bidang Teknik Mesin SMK Negeri dan Swasta di Kabupaten Indramayu Jawa Barat dengan membagi dalam tiga wilayah SMK di wilayah Indramayu Barat SMK di wilayah Indramayu Tengah dan SMK di wilayah Indramayu Timur. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode survey dengan model rancangan penelitian causal corelational yang bersifat ex-post facto. Analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis Deskriptif interkorelasi antar variabel dan analisis jalur (Path Analysis) dengan menggunakan regresi linier ganda. Hasil analisis data mengungkap (1) Analisis deskriptif menunjukkan status industri tempat Prakerin pada kategori sedang (51 6 %) lama pelaksanaan Prakerin pada kategori sedang (50 %) motivasi belajar siswa pada kategori sedang (57 6 %) dan sikap kewirausahaan siswa pada kategori sedang (56 8 %) (2) Analisis jalur (Path analysis) pada sub struktur-1 menunjukkan status industri (X1) dan lama pelaksanaan Prakerin (X2) berkontribusi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa (X3) dengan F sebesar 171 571 pada signifikansi 0 05 dan pada sub struktur-2 menunjukkan status industri (X1) lama pelaksanaan Prakerin (X2) dan motivasi belajar (X3) berkontribusi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan siswa (Y) dengan F sebesar 1248 936 pada signifikansi 0 05. Model sub struktur-2 perlu diperbaiki dengan metode trimming dengan mengeluarkan variabel X2 yang dianggap tidak signifikan dari analisisnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diajukan saran-saran sebagai berikut (1) Melihat hasil penelitian bahwa status industri yang dijadikan tempat Prakerin lama pelak sanaan Prakerin motivasi belajar produktif siswa dan sikap kewirausahaan dari seluruh responden siswa Bidang keahli an Mesin SMK di Kabupaten Indramayu memiliki skor pada kategori sedang maka diharapkan siswa dapat mengupayakan peningkatan seluruh variabel tersebut (2) Status industri tempat Prakerin berkon tri busi secara signifikan terhadap moti va si belajar produktif diharapkan siswa dapat melaksanakan Prakerin pada industri dengan kualifikasi sesuai dengan yang telah dipersyaratkan sehingga motivasi belajar siswa akan meningkat (3) Lama Prakerin berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar pro duktif siswa maka diharap kan siswa dapat memilih waktu pelaksanaan Prakerin dengan durasi waktu yang lebih lama dengan cara bekerja secara produktif agar terjalin hubung an yang saling menguntungkan dengan pihak perusahaan sehingga dapat me ning katkan motivasi belajar siswa (4) Status industri tempat Prakerin berkontribusi se ca ra signifikan terhadap sikap kewirausahaan siswa maka disarankan agar siswa dapat melaksanakan Pra kerin selain sesuai dengan kualifikasi yang telah di persyaratkan siswa juga harus melakukan pekerjaan yang sesuai dengan bi dang pekerjaanya supaya siswa dapat mempersepsi pekerjaanya secara positif sehingga sikap kewira usa haan akan tumbuh dengan baik (5) Walaupun lama Prakerin tidak berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap sikap kewira usahaan siswa namun durasi pelaksanaan Prakerin tetap diperlukan karena hal ini dapat mendukung tumbuh nya motivasi belajar siswa (6) Motivasi belajar produktif berkontribusi secara sig nifikan terhadap sikap ke wirausahaan siswa sehingga penting untuk siswa agar selalu mengupayakan peningkatan motiva si belajar disamping dengan cara me lak sana kan Prakerin yang sesuai kualifi kasi juga dengan cara-cara lain misalnya dengan menetapkan tujuan visi misi cita-cita dan seba gai nya. Keywords industry status duration of Prakerin learning motivation entrepreneurship attitude Curriculum for Vocational High School year 2004 signifies that the implementation of Education and Training in Vocational High School for students must involve the implementation of Prakerin in working/industry world (DU/DI). The main objective of Prakerin is to enclose the quality of Vocational High School graduates and the required ability (competence) by industry. One of the factors causing some of Vocational High School graduates are still jobless is the uncouragement to create entrepreneurship. Graduates of Machinery Department at Vocational High School in Indramayu Regency working in industry world are 41% and the rest of 59% are jobless. The aim of Vocational High School according to Curriculum 2004 is that its graduates should be able to catch the enterprise opportunity by creating entrepreneurship. The implementation of Prakerin is expected to help improving the entrepreneurship attitude for Vocational High School students which are consisting of three factors industry status of in which Prakerin is implemented duration of Prakerin and students learning motivation. Based on those three factors above mentioned the researcher proposes several hypotheses related to entrepreneurship attitude conducted at Vocational High School in Indramayu West Java which are (1) industry status of in which Prakerin is implemented and duration of Prakerin have simultaneously and significantly contribution to students productive learning motivation (2) industry status in which Prakerin is implemented has significantly contribution to students productive learning motivation (3) duration of Prakerin has significantly contribution to students productive learning motivation (4) industry status in which Prakerin is implemented duration of Prakerin and students productive learning motivation have simultaneously and significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude (6) duration of Prakerin has significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude and (7) students productive learning motivation has significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude. The object of study is Vocational High School students majoring in Machinery Engineering at public and private Vocational High School in Indramayu Regency West Java then they are divided into three areas Vocational High School in West Indramayu Central Indramayu and East Indramayu. This study employs survey method with causal correlational of ex-post facto. Then data is analyzed by descriptive analysis inter-correlation among variables and path analysis with double linear regression. Results of data analysis are (1) descriptive analysis shows that industry status in which Prakerin is implemented is in the average category (51.6%) duration of Prakerin is in the average category (50%) students learning motivation is in the average category (57.6%) and students entrepreneurship attitude is in the average category (56.8%) (2) path analysis in the substructure I shows that industry status (X1) and duration of Prakerin implementation (X2) have simultaneously and significantly contribution to students learning motivation (X3) with F of 171.571 in the significance of 0.05 while the substructure II shows that industry status (X1) and duration of Prakerin implementation (X2) have simultaneously and significantly contribution to students learning entrepreneurship attitude (Y) with F of 1248.938 in the significance of 0.05. Model in the substructure needs improvement through trimming method by excluding variable X2 which is considered insignificant in the analysis. Based on findings the researcher proposes several suggestions as follow (1) students majoring in Machinery engineering at Vocational High School in Indramayu Regency should improve variables of industry status duration of Prakerin students learning motivation and students entrepreneurship attitude which are in the average category (2) since industry status of in which Prakerin is implemented have significantly contribution to students productive learning motivation students should implement Prakerin in certain industry which is appropriate to the requirements so students learning motivation will improve (3) since duration of Prakerin have significantly contribution to students productive learning motivation they should choose the time for Prakerin implementation which has longer duration by working more productive in order to building mutual relationship with company that in turn will improve their learning motivation (4) since industry status of in which Prakerin is implemented has significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude they should implement Prakerin beyond the required qualification meaning that they should also implement it according to their expertise so their positive perception about their jobs will grow well (5) though duration of Prakerin has no significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude it is still needed because it supports students learning motivation (6) since students productive learning motivation has significantly contribution to students entrepreneurship attitude students should improve their learning motivation besides implement Prakerin according to its qualification by setting their own goal vision mission ideal etc. Besides teachers or related parties having relationship to students should always provide motivation to students through perception before and after learning.
