ABSTRAK Priolaksono Taufik. 2009 Pengaruh Penggunaan Media CD Interaktif Microsoft Access terhadap Hasil Belajar Kompetensi Mengoperasikan Perangkat Lunak Basis Data di SMK Negeri 4 Malang. Pendekatan mengajar yang efektif dan efisien dalam pembelajaran praktik merupakan strategi untuk menghasilkan siswa yang kompeten. Media sebagai bagian penting dalam pembelajaran praktik sebaiknya sesuai dengan karakteristik materi yang diajarkan. Media CD interaktif Microsoft Access dapat dikategorikan media yang sesuai efektif dan mudah untuk memahami pembelajaran kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui 1) hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan CD interaktif Microsoft Access 2) hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data yang diajarkan dengan metode konvensional 3) pengaruh penggunaan media CD interaktif Microsoft Access dan metode konvensional terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data. Penelitian ini menggunakan disain quasi experimental dengan subyek penelitian pada Program Keahlian Persiapan Grafika (PsG) yaitu kelas X PsG-4 yang berjumlah 42 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan media CD interaktif Microsoft Access dan kelas X PsG-5 yang berjumlah 42 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol yang diajarkan menggunakan metode konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan prates dan pascates pada tes pengetahuan dan tes keterampilan yang telah melalui pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) kompetensi mengoperasikan perang-kat lunak basis data yang diajarkan menggunakan media CD interaktif Microsoft Access menghasilkan nilai rerata pascates pengetahuan 75 18 dan untuk pascates keterampilan 77 29 2) kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data yang diajarkan menggunakan metode konvensional menghasilkan nilai rerata pascates pengetahuan 71 97 dan untuk pascates keterampilan 72 57 dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan media CD interaktif Microsoft Access pada kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data dengan taraf signifikansi ( 945 ) 0 05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini disarankan kepada guru pengajar kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data untuk mengembangkan dan menggunakan media CD interaktif Microsoft Access yang memenuhi karakteristik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran kompetensi mengoperasikan perangkat lunak basis data sehingga siswa mampu menguasai kompetensi tersebut dengan baik. Teaching approach which is effective and efficient in a learning practice is an important strategy to prepare students to be competent. Media as an important part of learning practice should be in accordance to the characteristics of the material taught. Microsoft Access interactive CD media can be categorized as a suitable effective and easy media to understand the competencies of operating the database software. The purposes of the research are to find out 1) competencies to operate the database software among students of SMKN 4 Malang who were taught by using the Microsoft Access interactive CD media 2) competencies to operate the database software among students of SMKN 4 Malang who were taught by using konventional method and 3) the significant influence of the use of Microsoft Access interactive CD media toward the students competencies to operate the database software. This research used quasi experimental design with the research subject was majors Persiapan Grafika (PsG) 1st class PsG-4 consisted of 42 students as a experimental class taught by using the Microsoft Access interactive CD media and 1st class PsG-5 consisted of 42 students as a control class taught by using konventional method in SMKN 4 Malang. To obtain data in this research is by using pretes and post tes both in knowledge test and skills tests that have been tested for the validity and reliability by using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results of the analysis of data shows that 1) competencies to operate the database software that taught by using Microsoft Access interactive CD media result average value post test 75.18 for cognitive skills and the post test average value 77.29 for psichomotoric skills 2) competencies to operate the database software that is taught by using konvensional method result average value post test of 71.97 and the post test average value 72.62 for psichomotoric skills and 3) there is significant difference between the use of Microsoft Access interactive CD media at the competencies to operate the database software with the base leg significance ( 945 ) 0 05. Based on the results of this research it is recommended for teachers of competencies to operate the database software to develop and use the Microsoft Access interactive CD media that meet the characteristics of learning activities in the competencies to operate the database software so students are able to master compe-tencies well. Microsoft Access interactive CD media as a medium of learning can be developed more widely and more comprehensively.
