Abstract

Teachers have an important role in the realm of education. Their quality will affect their students quality. Therefore teacher training and development is a fundamental process in education. The main problem of education is compared to other issues the lack of teachers professionalism. Consequently in the Law on Teachers and Lecturers teachers are required to satisfy the educational qualification that is S1/D4 as well as hold educator certification. A school s professionalism is defined by many factors such as the headmaster s competence in managing and guiding his/her school. The headmaster is the most responsible party on the educational management at schools. Therefore educational programs should be supported by an appropriate leadership behavior in order to effectively lead the teachers and create a conducive productive and passionate working atmosphere for the staff s. As the source of power and dynamics the headmaster should always communicate with his/her subordinates both formally and informally. Therefore the effective communication will foster the school s programs information process which will promote the teachers performance. The performance advancement is very much affected by the degree of the teachers working satisfaction. This factor should be noticed because whenever the satisfaction is there which is generally reflected in what they feel about their works and formed in their positive attitudes towards their jobs and whatever they face in the working area its is expected that the teachers professionalism will be eventually met. This study is aimed to describe the contribution of leadership behavior communication effectiveness and teachers working satisfaction on the professionalism of productive training subject teachers at Technology and Industry Group of SMK in Tuban Regency.
