Teacher is one of very important elements in teaching and learning pro cess. Teachers who consistently do their jobs and responsibilities are the main fac tors to support their students to achieve the learning goal and at the same time ob tain the target of education in general i.e. to provide guidance which is mean ing ful for the students in harmony with their ambitions. Therefore teachers have to possess four basic competencies i.e. pedagogical personality professional and social competencies which are developed in every activity of teaching and learn ing as well as in communities. The four competencies above mentioned are indicated by the teachers work ing performance which is reflected by how the teachers do their daily work-ing as the agents of teaching and learning at schools in terms of managing their teach ing activities potential development and academic knowledge. As the re-sults with good works in these aspects the educational transformation will occur in good manners and affect the students achievement. It is apparently difficult to implement them in real practice. There are numerous factors involved. Especially conducting practices in workshop requires practice equipment i.e. supporting fa ci-lities manual and electric utensils measurement tools and sufficient practice ma-terials and last but not least competent teachers who can create good atmos pheres in which practice occurs dynamically and communicatively. The study aims at observing the contributions of training experiences and the completeness of practice equipment toward the teachers working performance in the field of electric technology. The study is a type of population research by making use of quantitative design i.e. correlation which verifies the relationships among the variables. The population is all the teachers teaching electric techno lo gy who have ever taken training programs. There are 40 teachers distributed to (1) 17 teachers in Tanjungpinang City 15 from a public school i.e. SMK Negeri 3 and 2 from a private school SMK Raja Haji Fisabillah (2) 20 teachers in Batam City 18 from a public school SMK Negeri 1 and 2 from a private school SMK Hang Nadim and (3) 3 teachers in Karimun Regency all from a public school SMK Negeri 1. The results of the study show that (1) training experiences positively and significantly relate to the teachers teaching performance therefore the increasing of training experiences will be followed by the increasing of teachers working performance. It gives 22.14% contributions. (2) There is no significant relation ship between the completeness of practice equipment and teachers working per form-ance. The success of teachers teaching electrics at vocational schools is not influenced by the equipment completeness. Frequency distributions of equipment completeness are found very low with 0.77% contributions and (3) Training and equipment completeness have simultaneously relate to the teachers working per-formance and give 22.9% contributions. Based on the results of the study it is suggested that (1) the teachers with electrics skills increase the working performance by participating in more train ings that are pertinent to the field and (2) for maintaining the good quality it is needed to have sorts of trainings for effectively and efficiently making use of the facilities.
