Abstract

Abstract Water is one of the essensial needs for all human kinds and is somewhat easily affect by the biotic pollution dan the abiotic pollution. This also happens to both soil water and surface water in which those have already been contaminated by Coliform especially those located in populous areas. The reseach on Microbiology Quality Based on the MPN Coliform Value Coliform fecal and the colony of Escherichia coli bacteria the Physical and Chemical Quality of Refill Water in Palangkaraya City as the Supporting Material in Microbiology Practicum aims as finding out (1) the water quality of refill water and soil water source in the cities and in the hilly areas based on the MPN value of its Coliform Coliform fecal dan the number of Escherichia coli in Palangkaraya (2) the physical quality of refill water and the soil water based on the degree of clearance color taste smell found in Palangkaraya (3) the chemical quality of refill water in cities and in the hilly areas as well based on the level of purity pH BOD COD and the contamination of Pb in Palangkaraya. The result of this study shows that (1) have any significant difference between refill of water and soil water source in the cities and the hilly based on the MPN value of its Coliform MPN value of its Coliform fecal and the number colony of Esherichia coli bacteria. The refill of water soil water source found Coliform Coliform fecal and the colony of Esherichia coli bacteri whereas at refill of water the hilly not found Coliform fecal and the colony of Esherichia coli bacteri. The quality of water from the hilly is good to consume whereas from soil water source in the cities is not good to consume based MPN Coliform value MPN Coliform fecal value and the colony of Esherichia coli bacteri. (2) have any significant difference the quality of water based on clearance color taste and smell between refill of water from soil water source in the cities and the hilly (3) have any significant difference the quality of water based pH level of purity BOD and COD whereas based level Pb not have found any significan difference between refill of water from soil water source in the cities and the hilly. The implication of this study can be in the form siystematic pull out and principlle loyal of microbiology practicum manuals until can a good used aiming at forming significant and enjoyable theaching and learning activities by using contextual approach in the tertiary level (university) especially those dealing with microbiology course. Kata kunci coliform jumlah koloni bakteri Escherihia coli kualitas air.
