D (II) Dr. Fariati M.Sc Kata Kunci teks perubahan konsep kesalahan konsep materi dan perubahannya Materi dan perubahannya merupakan salah satu konsep dasar yang harus dikuasai peserta didik. Konsep tersebut diajarkan mulai kelas VII SMP sampai perguruan tinggi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaporkan dan data wawancara dengan guru IPA SMP kimia SMA dosen pengampu Kimia Dasar II dan Kimia Anorganik Fisik melaporkan bahwa peserta didik dari semua jenjang mengalami kesalahan konsep tersebut. Salah satu alat pembelajaran yang dapat memperbaiki kesalahan konsep adalah Teks Perubahan Konsep (TPK). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui (1) kesalahan konsep materi dan perubahannya yang dialami peserta didik dari SMP sampai perguruan tinggi di Jurusan Kimia-FMIPA-UM (2) keefektifan Teks Perubahan Konsep (TPK) dalam upaya untuk mengurangi kesalahan konsep materi dan perubahannya yang dialami peserta didik Kimia Anorganik Fisik. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan pra-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik S1 Jurusan Kimia-FMIPA-UM yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah Kimia Anorganik Fisik. Jenis pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu availability sampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 131 peserta didik Kimia Anorganik Fisik. Uji coba dilakukan pada 61 peserta didik kelas VII SMPN 1 Kedungpring-Lamongan 60 peserta didik kelas X SMAN 3 Malang 32 peserta didik yang mengikuti matakuliah Kimia Dasar II tahun ajaran 2016/2017 Jurusan Kimia-FMIPA-UM. Uji coba digunakan untuk mengetahui reliabilitas instrumen tingkat kesukaran soal dan kesalahan konsep. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal diagnostik yang terdiri dari 4 Set soal dengan total soal sebanyak 70 butir soal. Validitas dan reliabilitasnya berturut-turut adalah 98 57% dan 0 835. Keefektifan TPK dalam mengurangi kesalahan konsep dilihat dari nilai N-gain score uji-t sampel berpasangan dan pengurangan persentase kesalahan konsep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Sebanyak sembilan kesalahan konsep yang dimiliki peserta didik SMP sampai perguruan tinggi ditemukan yang sama yaitu perubahan warna merupakan ciri perubahan fisika raksa adalah unsur non-logam karena berwujud cair semua gas adalah senyawa partikel gas adalah molekul molekul unsur (Cl2 O2) digambarkan sebagai atom tunggal pemanasan H2O menghasilkan H2 dan O2 reaksi kimia menghancurkan atom gas lebih ringan daripada padatan dan karat lebih ringan daripada besi (2) Keefektifan TPK di kelas Kimia Anorganik Fisik dibuktikan dengan nilai N-gain score sebesar 0 31 ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretes dan postes setelah diberikan TPK. Hasil postes menunjukkan kesalahan konsep raksa adalah unsur non-logam karena berwujud cair dan molekul unsur digambarkan sebagai atom tunggal menjadi 0% partikel gas adalah molekul berkurang sebanyak 13%. 8195 ABSTRACT Rohmah Rosyidah Syafaatur. 2017. Matter and its changes concept is taught from seventh grade Junior High School to college students. The previous study and interviews with teachers from Junior High School Senior High School lecturer of Basic Chemistry II and Physical Inorganic Chemistry had been reported that students from all degree have misconceptions. One of the learning tools which could correct the misconceptions was Conceptual Change Texts (CCT). The objective of this research was to identify (1) matter and its changes misconceptions was owned by students from Junior High School to college students (2) the effectiveness of Conceptual Change Text (CCT) on the correction of matter and its changes misconceptions which been owned by Physical Inorganic Chemistry students. The research design was descriptive and pre-experimental one group pretest-postest design. The population of this research were Physical Inorganic Chemistry students Department of Chemistry-FMIPA-UM. The sampling method was availability sampling. There were 131 Physical Inorganic Chemistry students as a sample. There were 61 seventh grade students from SMPN 1 Kedungpring-Lamongan and 60 tenth grade students from SMAN 3 Malang 32 Basic Chemistry II students Year 2016/2017 Department of Chemistry-FMIPA-UM. Trial is used to find out the instrument reliability difficulty level of item and misconceptions. The research instrument were diagnostic test consist of 4 Set questions with 70 items. The validity and reliability of the test was 98 57% and 0 835. The effectiveness of CCT in reducing matter and its changes misconceptions determined by normalized gain score paired sample t-test reduce misconceptions percentage. The results of the research showed that (1) there were nine misconceptions owned by students from Junior High School to college students such as the color changes is a physical change characteristic mercury is a non-metallic because has a liquid phase all gas are a compound gas particle is a molecule elements molecule (Cl2 O2) figured as a single atom boiling water produce hydrogen and oxygen chemical reaction can destroy atom gas weighs less than solid rust weighs less than the iron (2) CCT was effective for students Physical Inorganic Chemistry proved by value of normalized gain score is 0 31 and there was significance difference between pretest and posttest score after students get CCT. Posttest resulted showed that misconceptions mercury is a non-metallic because has a liquid phase and elements molecule (Cl2 O2) figured as a single atom become 0% and gas particle is a molecule reduced by 13%.
