Pengaruh Embedded Formative Assessment dalam Predict Observe Explain (POE) terhadap Penguasaan Konsep dan Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa Materi Fluida Statis Tesis Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Malang. Menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21 pembelajaran sains perlu mendukung perkembangan berbagai kemampuan siswa. Penguasaan konsep yang baik sangat dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan masalah fisika sedangkan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) yang baik dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memecahkan masalah siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Embedded Formative Assessment dalam Pembelajaran POE merupakan salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan KPS siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh embedded formative assessment dalam pembelajaran POE terhadap penguasaan konsep dan KPS siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah Quasi-Experiment dengan desain None Quivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 141 siswa SMAN 1 Masbagik kelas XI Lombok Timur pada semester II tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pretest-posttest dan hasil observasi KPS. Analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif untuk pendeskripsian data dan Multivariate Analisis of Variance (MANOVA) untuk analisis hipotesis. Instrumen penelitian divalidasi oleh dua orang ahli. Hasil validasi menunjukkan instrumen valid dan dapat digunakan. Setelah melalui uji empiris pada 162 siswa SMAN 1 Masbagik kelas XII Lombok Timur koefisien korelasi biserial menunjukkan instrumen yang digunakan baik dan reliabel. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan hasil reliabilitas soal tes penguasaan konsep 0 60 dan KPS 0 63. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan penguasaan konsep dan KPS siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penguasaan konsep kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Hasil rata-rata posttest penguasaan konsep kelas eksperimen 11 05 dan kelas kontrol 9 78. Skor rata-rata posttest materi KPS siswa kelas eksperimen 6 28 dan KPS siswa kelas kontrol 5 46. Hasil analisis Tests of Between Subjects Effect penguasaan konsep F 7 82 dengan signifikansi 0 006 dan KPS F yaitu 6 23 dengan signifikansi 0 014. ABSTRACT Yadaeni Ahmad. 2017. Good concept acquisition is needed in solving physics problems while good science process skills are needed to improve students problem solving skills in everyday life. Embedded Formative Assessment in Learning POE is one of the alternatives to improve the concept acquisition and students science process skill. This study was conducted with the aim to determine the effect of embedded formative assessment in learning POE to concept acquisition and students science process skill. The method of this research is Quasi-Experiment with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design None Quivalent design. The study sample consisted of 141 students of SMAN 1 Masbagik class XI East Lombok in second semester of academic year 2016/2017 consisting of experiment class and control class. Research data obtained from pretest-posttest result and result of observation science process skill. Data analysis with descriptive statistics for data descriptions and Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) for hypothesis analysis. The research instrument is validated by two experts. Validation results indicate valid and usable instruments. After passing empirical test on 162 students of SMAN 1 Masbagik class XII East Lombok. The biserial correlation coefficient indicates the instruments used are good and reliable. This is indicated by the reliability test results concept acquisition questions 0.60 and science process skill 0.63. The results showed that there were differences in concept acquisition and students science process skill between experiment class and control class. Concept acquisition the experiment class is higher than the control class. The average posttest concept acquisition result of the experimental class 11.05 and control class 9 78. Average posttest scores of students experiment class science process skill 6.28 and control class science process skills 5.46. Result of Tests of Between Subjects Effect concept acquisition of F 7 82 with significance 0 006 and science process skill F is 6 23 with significance 0 014.
