Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Primardiana Hermilia Wijayati, M.Pd., (2) Prof. Dr. Gunadi Harry Sulistyo, M.A. Kata Kunci : Kurikulum, Profil Lulusan, Dunia Kerja, Abad Dua Puluh Satu Berdasarkan laporan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) tahun 2016 angka pengangguran sarjana di Abad XXI makin meningkat karena perguruan tinggi belum mampu menghasilkan tenaga kerja profesional. Di abad ini tuntutan pendidikan tinggi adalah mencetak tenaga kerja yang terampil dan profesional serta mampu menghadapi tantangan perubahan. Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) bertujuan mencetak tenaga kerja di bidang kependidikan bahasa Jerman. Akan tetapi, di abad ini persaingan menjadi seorang tenaga pendidikan kian ketat dan sempit seiring kebijakan pemerintah melalui program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Penelitian ini bertujuan menggali fenomena dunia kerja berdasarkan pengalaman mahasiswa, alumni, dan pengguna lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman Universitas Negeri Malang (UM). Penelitian menggunakan model studi eksploratif induktif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui indepth interview dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk menjaga keabsahan data, dilakukan kegiatan triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles & Huberman yang dimulai dari tahap pengecekan data, tahap identifikasi, klasifikasi data, dan tahap penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi dan kewenangan lulusan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman UM belum menjawab kebutuhan pasar dunia kerja di Abad XXI. Meski secara umum profil lulusan bukan saja di bidang kependidikan tetapi juga non-kependidikan yaitu bidang pariwisata, penerjemahan, dan bisnis tetapi kemampuan dan keterampilan pada bidang tersebut belum didapatkan pada proses perkuliahan. Padahal kebutuhan pengguna lulusan bahasa Jerman di bidang pendidikan di bawah institusi non pemerintahan masih harus dipenuhi lantaran persaingan dunia kerja yang semakin ketat sehingga kualifikasi tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan pun meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Berdasarkan hal di atas, maka kurikulum Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman belum memperhatikan pasar dunia kerja Abad XXI. Selain itu, program studi perlu mengembangkan kemampuan dan keterampilan lulusan pada bidang di luar penerjemahan, pariwisata, dan bisnis. ABSTRACT Arifah, Wahida Rahmania. 2017. In 21st century the demands of higher education is to print a skilled and professional workforce and also been able to face the challenges. The German Language Education Program State University of Malang aims to print the workforce in the field of German language education. However, in this century the competition became an increasingly tighter and narrower education personnel as government policy through the program of Professional Teacher Education. This study aims to explore the phenomenon of the workforce based on the experience of students, alumni, and graduate students of the German Language Education Studies Program State University of Malang. The study used an inductive explorative study model with a qualitative approach. Data collection is done through indepth interview and documentation study. To maintain data validity, data triangulation activities are performed. Data analysis using Miles & Huberman model starting from data checking stage, identification stage, data classification, and conclusion phase. The result of the research shows that the competence and authority of the graduates of the German Education Program have not yet responded to the needs of the world market of work in the 21 century. Although in general the profile of graduates is not only in the field of education but also non-educational is the field of tourism, translation, and business but the skills and skills in the field have not been obtained in the lecture. Whereas the needs of German graduates in the education sector under non-government institutions still have to be fulfilled due to the increasingly tight competition of the work world so that the qualifications of the required workforce increase from year to year. Based on the above, the curriculum of the German Language Education Program has not yet paid attention to the work market market of the 21 century. In addition, the study program needs to develop graduate skills and skills in areas outside translation, tourism, and business.
