Kata Kunci manajemen program life skill SMP Negeri Berasrama Secara sederhana makna pendidikan adalah usaha untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan potensi bawaan baik itu jasmani maupun rohani manusia sesuai dengan nilai yang ada di masyarakat dan kebudayaan. Pendidikan juga harus mampu menyelesaikan masalah yang sedang dihadapi oleh para peserta didik dan masyarakat di sekitar sekolah. Tujuan tersebut kemudian disinergikan kembali melalui kontekstualisasi kebutuhan para siswa dan juga tempat di mana proses pendidikan berlangsung. Inilah kiranya yang sedang dikembangkan oleh SMP Negeri berasrama di kabupaten kaur melalui serangkaian program life skill-nya. Program life skill adalah sebuah program yang lahir dari kebutuhan dan masalah peserta didik serta masyarakat sekitar (masalah perekonomian para wali murid yang lemah dan kebutuhan siswa yang tinggal di asrama) dan tujuannya adalah memberikan solusi atas semua masalah tersebut. Program life skill yaitu bentuk kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kecakapan dan potensi lokal yang dimiliki siswa melalui kegiatan asrama maupun pengembangan diri serta KBM di sekolah. Life skill bukan hal yang baru tapi menarik untuk dikaji karena disini dalam konteks sekolah tingkat SMP yang status negeri dan berasrama dimana siswa tidak dibebani biaya sekolah dan asrama. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 35 Berasrama Kaur dan SMP Negeri 36 PK-LK Kaur bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan segenap fenomena dan peristiwa yang terjadi berkaitan dengan manajemen program life skill. Fokus penelitian meliputi (1) Rancangan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama (2) Pengorganisasian dan mekanisme pembinaan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama (4) Pelaksanaan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama dan (4) Mekanisme Evaluasi program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan studi multi situs. Data penelitian berupa data deskriptif yang didapatkan melalui wawancara data dokumentasi dan data observasi mengenai manajemen program life skill. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama rancangan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama yakni (1) Ada dua tipe mekanisme bottom up dan partisipasi pembimbing (2) Hal yang ditentukan dalam rancangan yaitu identitas program bagaimana pelaksanan program dan bagaimana mengevaluasi program (3) Jenis-jenis program life skill yang bisa dilaksankan di sekolah dan asrama meliputi 4 kelompok. yaitu (a) Kecakapan personal (b) kecakapan Sosial (c) Kecakapan akademik dan (c) kecakapan vokasi. Kedua pengorganisasian dan mekanisme pembinaan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama yakni (1) (a) Struktur sekolah sebagai sarana pengorganisasian guru (b) Struktur asrama sebagai sarana pengorganisasian dan pemberdayaan pengurus asrama (2) Pembina dan koordinator sebagai struktur organisasi pelaksana (3) memberdayakan SDM guru Pembimbing asrama dan PPL Dinas yang mendukung (4) mekanisme pembinaan dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan pemberdayaan SDM saat pelaksanaan terdiri dari pembinaan oleh Pembina dan koordinator serta mekanisme pembinaan oleh kepala sekolah dan kepala asrama (5) sumber dana utama program life skill sekolah adalah BOS (6) sarana prasarana adalah sarana prasarana sekolah dan asrama. Ketiga pelaksanaan program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama yakni (1) pelaksanaan program terdiri dari pelaksanaan program life skill yang merupakan program sekolah yang terintergrasi pada KBM dan pengembangan diri. Program yang merupakan program asrama terdiri dari kegiatan asrama (2) pelaksanaan program pada Pembina/koordinator dan siswa dilakukan dengan cara pembangunan komitmen pengorientasian permotivasian pengontrolan diberi keleluasan dan wewenang pembiasaan dan pengevaluasian secara rutin dan pemberian hukuman atau sangsi. Keempat mekanisme evaluasi program life skill pada SMP Negeri berasrama yakni (1) kinerja evaluasi dilakukan untuk Pembina dan koordinator diwujudkan dalam bentuk rekaman catatan setiap bulan dan laporan pertanggungjawaban di setiap akhir semester (2) kerja evaluasi dilakukan untuk siswa oleh Pembina dan koordinator program untuk program yang ada di sekolah dilaporkan dalam bentuk raport sekolah sedangkan untuk program yang dilaksanakan di asrama dilaporkan dalam bentuk raport asrama (3) prestasi evaluasi ini dilakukan diakhir semester untuk prestasi jenis program dalam mengikuti lomba-lomba. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi penelitian direkomendasikan saran-saran berikut. (1) Bagi Kepala Sekolah senantiasa terus (a) merapikan pedoman pelaksanaan program life skill (b) memperjelas jenis program berdasarkan konsep life skill (c) memberikan peran orang tua dalam pengambilan keputusan menyangkut program dan keuangan sekolah serta asrama (d) mengusahakan anggaran untuk program yang dilaksanakan di asrama (2) Bagi Guru dan Pembina senantiasa terus merapihkan dokumentasi dari pelaksanaan program life skill meningkatkan pengelolaan program life skill terutama yang bersifat koordinasi untuk merancang target perkembangan dan pembelajaran dengan asrama merancang tindakan di sekolah dan bentuk penyelarasan di asrama dan usahakan tersebut menjangkau sampai kepala melihat kelebihan dan kekurangan siswa (3) Bagi pengurus asrama dan koordinator senantiasa terus merapikan dokumentasi dari pelaksanaan program life skill di asrama meningkatkan koordinasi dengan Pembina program sekolah agar berjalan secara efisien dan efektif merapikan pedoman pelaksanaan program di asrama memperjelas jenis program life skill yang ada di asrama sesuai dengan konsep life skil dan membuat program yang melibatkan orang tua siswa (4) Bagi Peneliti selanjutnya sebagai inspirasi untuk mengkaji lebih dalam tentang manajemen program life skill pada sekolah berasrama. Keywords life skills program management boarding junior high school In simple terms the meaning of education is to grow and develop the innate potential both physical and spiritual with a value in society and culture. Education also must be able to resolve the problems being faced by the students and the community around the school. The aim is then synergized back through contextualization needs the students and also the place where the educational process takes place. This is presumably that is being developed by the boarding state of junior high schools in Kaur district through a series of life skills program. Program Life Skills is a program that are born from the students needs and concerns of learners and the local community (the economic problem guardians of students who are weak and needs of students who live in dormitories) and the goal is to provide solutions to all these problems. Program Life Skills which form the activities undertaken to develop local skills and potential of the students through dormitory and self-development activities as well as teaching and learning in schools. life skills is nothing new but interesting to study because here in the context of the level schools Junior High School that status and the country where students are not burdened boarding school and boarding fees. This research was conducted in the boarding junior high school 35 Kaur and Junior High School 36 PK-LK Kaur aims to describe all phenomena and events that occur relating to the management of the life skills program. The focus of the study include (1) The design of program the life skills at Boarding Junior High School (2) Organizing and coaching mechanisms of programs life skills at Boarding Junior High School (4) The implementation of programs life skills at Boarding Junior High School and (5) Evaluation Mechanism programs life skills at boarding Junior High School. The approach used in this study was qualitative using a multi-site study. Research data descriptive data obtained through interviews documentation data and observation data regarding program management the life skills The results of this study summarized as follows. First the design of the life skills program at the boarding junior high school boarding namely (1) There were two types of bottom-up mechanism and the participation of mentors (2) It specified in the draft namely the identity of the program how the program be implemented and how to evaluate the program (3) The types of life skills program which could be undertaken in schools and dormitories include four groups. namely (a) personal skills (b) Social skills (c) academic skills and (c) vocational skills. Secondly organizing and coaching mechanisms of programs life skills at boarding Junior High School namely (1) (a) The structure of the school as a means of organizing teacher (b) Structure of the hostel as a means of organizing and empowering the board dormitory (2) The coach and the coordinator as the implementing organization structure (3) empower teachers human resource dorm supervisor and the PPL service in support (4) The formation mechanism was done to optimize the empowerment of human resources during implementation consists of coaching by the coach and the coordinator as well as coaching mechanism by the principal and the matron (5) the main source program of life skills School was BOS (6) the infrastructure was the infrastructure of the school and hostel. Third the implementation of programs life skills at Boarding Junior High School namely (1) the implementation of the program consisted of the implementation of programs life skills which was a school program that was integrated into the teaching and learning activities and personal development. The program which is a program consisting of a hostel dorm activities (2) the implementation of the program on the coach / coordinator and the student was done by building commitment doing orientation doing motivation control given the flexibility and authority habituation and evaluating regularly and punishment or sanctions. Fourth the program evaluation mechanisms life skills at Boarding Junior High School namely (1) performance an evaluation was made to coaches and coordinators realized in the form of written records every month and accountability reports on each end of the semester (2) work evaluation was made to the student by the coach and the coordinator of the program for programs in schools wre reported in the form of school report cards while for the programs implemented in the hostel were reported in the form of report cards dormitories (3) achievement this evaluation was done at the end of the semester for the achievement of these types of programs in the following competitions. Based on the results of the study it is recommended the following suggestions. (1) For the Principal always continue (a) tidy up guidelines for the implementation of the program of life skills (b) clarify the type of program is based on the concept of life skills (c) the role of parents in decisions concerning the programs and finances of the school and dormitory ( d) to promote the budget for the programs implemented in the hostel (2) Teachers and coaches always continue to clean up the documentation of the implementation of the program of life skills improving management life skills programs especially those that are coordinated to design targeted development and learning with boarding designing action in schools and forms of alignment in the dorm and make sure it is reaching up head to see the advantages and disadvantages of students (3) For the dorm administrator and coordinator always kept tidy up the documentation of the implementation of programs life skills The hostel improves coordination with the Trustees of the school program to run efficiently and effectively adjusting the guidelines of the program in a dorm clarify what kinds of programs life skills in a dorm in accordance with the concept of life skills and create programs that involve parents (4) For further researchers as an inspiration to examine more deeply about program management life skills at boarding school.
