Ramli M.A. Kata kunci keefektifan konseling petualangan kecerdasan adversitas pribadi-sosial Kecerdasan adversitas pribadi-sosial merupakan kemampuan individu untuk memegang kendali dirinya belajar dari kesalahan bertanggungjawab untuk membuat situasi lebih baik membatasi jangkauan masalah yang dihadapi dan bertahan dalam menghadapi kesulitan pribadi-sosial. Fenomena yang ada di sekolah saat ini menunjukkan beberapa siswa SMK memiliki kecerdasan adversitas tingkat rendah. Permasalahan ini menjadi permasalahan penting untuk diatasi karena kecerdasan adversitas berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan individu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji keefektifan konseling berbasis petualangan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan adversitas pribadi-sosial siswa SMK Negeri 1 Udanawu-Blitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan quasi experimental dengan model nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Penentuan subjek dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 12 siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Udanawu. Siswa yang terpilih sebagai subjek penelitian memiliki tingkat kecerdasan adversitas rendah. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan antara lain inventori kecerdasan adversitas daftar cek permainan menara sedotan dan jurnal refleksi diri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik non-parametrik uji two independent sample test Mann Whitney U . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konseling berbasis petualangan efektif untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan adversitas pribadi-sosial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik non-parametrik uji two independent sample test Mann Whitney U dengan taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh skor probabilitas alpha ( 945 ) sebesar 0 025 dan skor Zhitung sebesar -2 242. Skor probabilitas alpha ( 945 ) sebesar 0 025 0 05 hal ini berarti Ho ditolak. Skor Zhitung sebesar -2 242 berada di luar area penerimaan Ho (area 1 97) dan kesimpulannya Ho ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka disarankan untuk (1) konselor hendaknya menggunakan konseling berbasis petualangan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan adversitas pribadi-sosial siswa di sekolah (2) peneliti selanjutnya memilih aspek kepribadian lain dari siswa untuk diintervensi menggunakan konseling berbasis petualangan menggunakan rancangan penelitian true experiment dengan melibatkan subjek yang luas supaya hasilnya dapat digeneralisasikan dan menerapkan konseling berbasis petualangan pada jenjang pendidikan lain misalnya SMA maupun SMP dengan menyesuaikan kegiatan konseling berbasis petualangan dengan tahap perkembangan siswa. Ramli M.A. Keyword effectiveness adventure based counseling social-personal adversity quotient The Social-Personal of Adversity Quotient is the ability of individual to take control of himself origin and ownership reach and endurance in the face of social-personal difficulties. The phenomenon that exist in the school today reflect some vocational students have low of adversity quotient level. This problem becomes an important issue to overcome because adversity quotient affects the individuals success. The research aims to test the effectiveness of adventure based counseling for increasing social-personal adversity quotient of student at SMKN 1 Udanawu-Blitar. This research uses quasi experimental design with nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Determination of the subject is done by using purposive sampling technique. The subject of this research is 12 student of class XI at SMKN 1 Udanawu-Blitar. Students who selected as research subjects have low adversity quotient level. Data collection instrument used include adversity quotient inventory menara sedotan game check list and self reflection journal. Data analysis technique used is nonparametric statistic analysis technique with two independent sample test Mann Whitney U. The results show that adventure based counseling is effective for increasing social-personal adversity quotient. Based on the results of data analysis using non-parametric statistic two independent sample test Mann Whitney U with a significance level 5% obtained alpha probability score of 0 025 dan Z score of -2 242. The alpha probability score of 0 025 0 05 this means Ho is rejected. Z score of -2 242 is outside of Ho area revenue ( 1 97 area) and the conclusion is Ho rejected. Based on the results of the study it is advisable to (1) Counselors should use adventure based counseling for increasing sosial personal adversity quotient in the school and (2) further researcher should choose other personalities student to intervention with adventured base counseling using a true experiment research design that involving subject from the wide area so that the result can be generalized and apply adventure based counseling to other level of education such as high school and junior high school by adjusting adventured based counseling activities to the stage of student development.
