Proses pembelajaran sejarahpada kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Batu khususnya pada materi masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia telah terjadi banyak hambatan dan permasalahan. Hambatan dan permasalahan tersebut antara lain waktu yang terbatas kurang maksimalnya penggunaan bahan ajar dan penyajian materi kurang menarik. Hal ini membuat siswa merasa kurang tertarik untuk belajar sejarah. Untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut maka dikembangkan sebuah bahan ajar web materi pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia dengan melakukan penelitian dan pengembangan. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar web pada materi masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia. Bahan ajar web pada materi masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia sangat penting untuk dikembangkan di SMA Negeri 1 Batu.Dengan hadirnya bahan ajar web pada materi masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia diharapkan dapat meminimalisir tidak efektifnya waktu dalam kegiatan tatap muka dan memaksimalkan siswa untuk belajar sejarah khususnya pada materi pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia. Model penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar web materi pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia kelas XI IPS di Kota Batu menggunakan model pengembangan dari Sugiyono. Dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas beberapa langkah yakni (1) potensi dan masalah (2) pengumpulan data (3) desain produk (4) validasi desain (5) revisi desain (6) uji coba produk dan (7) revisi produk. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu hasil validasi ahli materi menunjukkan dengan rata-rata sebesar 92 5% ahli mediadengan rata-ratasebesar 98 4% dan praktisi pembelajaran dengan rata-rata sebesar 93%. Uji coba perseorangan dilakukan kepada 3 siswa kelas XI IPS menunjukan dengan rata-rata sebesar 98 4% uji coba kelompok kecil yang dilakukan kepada 9 siswa kelas XI IPSdengan rata-rata sebesar 92 2% dan uji coba kelompok besar yang dilakukan kepada 30 siswa kelas XI IPS dengan rata-ratasebesar 89 3%. Peneliti melakukan revisi bahan ajar webmateri masa pendudukan Jepang di Indonesia sesuai saran yang telah diberikanuntuk penyempurnaan bahan ajar web. Bahan ajar web memberikan efektifitas terhadap pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pendudukan Jepang. Hasil efektifitas didapatkanmelalui kegiatan pre test dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 81 25 dan post test dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 95 4. Kedua hasil tersebut memiliki selisih sebesar 14 15.Kemudian hasil analisis uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test juga menunjukan sebesar 0 000 di mana kurang dari batas kritis penelitian 0 05 sehingga keputusan hipotesis adalah terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara hasil pretest dan posttest. To solve the problem then developed a web instructional material on the topic ofJapan occupation in Indonesia period by research and development. This study aims to produce products web instructional material on the topicJapan occupation in Indonesia. Web instructional materials on the topic Jappan occupation in Indonesia is very important to be developed in SMA Negeri 1 Batu. With the presence of web resources on the subject matter of the Japan occupation in Indonesia it is expected to minimize the ineffectiveness of the time in face-to-face activities and maximize the students to learn history especially on the topic of Japan occupation in Indonesia. The research and development model of instructional material on the topic Japan occupation in IndonesiaXI social class in SMA Negeri 1 Batu using the development model from Sugiyono. The research consists of several steps namely (1) potential and problem (2) data collection (3) product design (4) design validation (5) design revision (6) product trial and (7) ) Product revision. The results obtained from this study are the validation results of the material experts showed with an average of 92.5% media experts with an average of 98.4% and learning practitioners with an average of 93%. Individual trials were conducted to 3 students of XI social class showing with an average of 98.4% small group trials conducted to 9 students of XI social class with an average of 92.2% and large group trials conducted To 30 students of XI social class with an average of 89.3%. In this study there are also some suggestions and comments from material experts media experts learning practitioners and students who must be improved by researchers. The researcher revised web instructional materials on the occupation of Japan in Indonesia according to the suggestion given for the refinement of web resources. Web instructional materials provide effectiveness to students understanding of Japanese occupation material. Effectivity results obtained through pre test activity with an average value of 81.25 and post test with an average value of 95.4. Both of these results have a difference of 14.15.Then the results of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test analysis also showed 0.000 where less than the critical limits of the study 0.05 so that the hypothesis decision there is a meaningful difference between the pretest and posttest results.
