Dalam hal ini penyelenggaraan program kegiatan belajar di museum bertujuan untuk memberikan fasilitas terhadap siswa dalam proses belajar dan pengaruh belajar sejarah di museum terhadap hasil belajar siswa.Belajar sejarah di museum juga merupakan kegiatan yang menyenangkan karena siswa juga bisa refreshing dengan tidak hanya belajar sejarah di kelas. Selama ini sumber pembelajaran sejarah yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2014-2015 hanya terpaku pada buku teks. Namun dengan belajar di luar kelas seperti belajar sejarah di Museum Probolinggo tentu akan menarik minat dan antusias siswa terhadap matapelajaran sejarah. Metode pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dapat membuat siswa lebih paham dalam mencerna pengetahuan yang diperoleh. Informasi dan pemahaman yang diperoleh siswa berkaitan erat dengan relevansi belajar sejarah di Museum Probolinggo dengan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui potensi Museum Probolinggo sebagai sumber belajar sejarah menjelaskan proses pembelajaran sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo di Museum Probolinggo serta menjelaskan relevansi belajar sejarah di Museum Probolinggo dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Laporan penelitian akan berisi kutipan-kutipan data untuk memberi gambaran penyajian laporan tersebut. Sumber data dalam hal ini adalah pengelola Museum Probolinggo pemandu Museum Probolinggo guru sejarah SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo dan siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo.Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalahobservasi wawancara dokumentasi dan teknik tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwapotensi yang terdapat di Museum Probolinggo adalah koleksi yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 1. Prosespembelajaran sejarah di Museum Probolinggo dapat menggunakan koleksi benda-benda Museum Probolinggo sebagai sumber belajar.Adapun selain memanfaatkan koleksi materi Hindu-Buddha siswa kelas XI IPS 1 juga diberikan penjelasan mengenai koleksi-koleksi Museum Probolinggo lainnya yang kebanyakan berhubungan dengan sejarah lokal. Selain itu dari data penelitian terdapat relevansi belajar sejarah di Museum Probolinggo dengan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti darijumlah siswa yang dapat menuntaskan tes adalah 20 siswa atau 91% sedangkan jumlah siswa yang tidak menuntaskan tes adalah 2 siswa atau 9%. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran sejarah menggunakan koleksi Museum Probolinggo dapat dipahami siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo dan adanya hubungan belajar sejarah di Museum Probolinggo dengan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo. In this case the learning program of students learning activity in museum was mean to provide facility for students in during learning process and its influence towards students result of study. Learning history in museum was also a fun activity because the students are able to refresh their mind by not only learning history inside the classroom. These past years the resource of history learning which has done in odd semester 2014-2015 in SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo was only focus on textbook. By learning outside the classroom such as learning history in Museum Probolinggo surely increase students interest and enthusiasm towards history. The learning methods fun can make students understand more in digest knowledge acquired. Information and understanding obtained students closely related to relevancy of learning history in Museum Probolinggo towards students result of study. This research was conducted with the aim to find out the potential of the Museum Probolinggo as a source of learning history explain the process of learning history students of XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo in Museum Probolinggo as well as explaining the relevancy of learning history in Museum Probolinggo toward results of study students of XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo. This research used qualitative approach the research method applies in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research report will be about presentation of data to give images about the reports presentation. The subject of this research is the developer of Museum Probolinggo the history teacher of SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo and the students of XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo. The technique that was used to compile data in this research is observation interview documentary and test technique. The research result shows that the potential of Museum Probolinggo are collections that can be used as a source of learning students of XI IPS 1. The process of learning history in Museum Probolinggo can use a collection of objects of the Museum of Probolinggo as a source of learning. Not only used material collections of Hindu Buddha the students of XI IPS 1 are also given explanations about other collections that are owned by Museum Probolinggo which related to local history. Other than that based on the data the relevancy of learning history in Museum Probolinggo toward results of study students. This is evident the amount of students who are able to pass the test is 20 students or 91% while the amount of students who are not able to pass the test are 2 students or 9%. The result of this research shows that the activity of history learning by using Museum Probolinggo s collection is able to be understood by students of XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo and a correlation between learning history in Museum Probolinggo towards students of XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 4 Probolinggo s results of study.
