Model Genius Learning merupakan model pembelajaran aktif yang terdiri atas berbagai macam metode dan pendekatan praktis guna meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran. Kelebihan dari model Genius Learning adalah dapat mendorong siswa untuk berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi dan melatih bekerja sama memudahkan siswa memahami materi pelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Namun model Genius Learning belum diketahui pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir integratif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh model Genius Learning terhadap berpikir integratif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis eksperimen semu (quasy eksperimen design) dengan menekankan pada Pretest-Post test Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 dan XI IPS 3 di SMAN 1 Sutojayan. Data dikumpulkan dengan melakukan dua tes yaitu pre test dan post test. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan Uji-t (t-test). Hal ini digunakan untuk melakukan uji hipotesis dengan SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0 015. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Genius Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir integratif siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Sutojayan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir integratif pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen sebesar 81 25 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 77 19. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian terdapat saran bagi guru dan peneliti selanjutnya. Pertama guru disarankan menggunakanmodel Genius Learning dalam pembelajaran geografi dengan materi yang sesuai dengan model Genius Learning yaitu materi-materi yang banyak menyajikan permasalahan. Kedua saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya yaitu peneliti lebih lanjut dapat melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan variabel lain seperti pemahaman konsep berpikir tingkat tinggi berpikir analitis berpikir kritis minat motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar. The Genius Learning Model is an active learning model consisting of various methods and practical approaches to improve learning outcomes. The advantages of the Genius Learning model is to encourage students to play an active role in learning improve communication skills and teamwork make it easier for students to understand the subject matter improve students thinking ability. However the Genius Learning model has not known its influence on integrative thinking ability. This study aims to determine whether there is influence of Genius Learning model on integrative thinking. This research is a quasi-experimental design study with emphasis on Pre test-Post test Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects of the study were students of class XI IPS 2 and XI IPS 3 in SMAN 1 Sutojayan. Data were collected by performing two tests namely pre test and post test. Analysis of research data using t-test. It is used to perform hypotesis test with SPSS 16.0 for windows. Hypothesis test results from the data gain score showing the significance value of 0 015. Based on this it can be concluded that the Genius Learning model has an effect on integrative thinking ability of grade XI IPS students of SMA Negeri 1 Sutojayan. The results show that the integrative thinking ability in the experimental class is better than the control class. This is evidenced by the average score of experiment class is 81 25 while the control class is 77 19. Based on the research findings there are suggestions for teachers and further researchers. Teachers are advised to use the Genius Learning model in geography learning with material that is in accordance with the Genius Learning model which is the material that presents many problems. Second the suggestion for further research is that researchers can further research using other variables such as concept comprehension high level thinking analytical thinking critical thinking interest learning motivation and learning outcomes.
