Abstract

Keywords Efforts to institute early childhood parent participation child early age Parenting education Early childhood education institutions as a source of learning is one important component in determining the success of early childhood education programs. Early childhood education institutions play a role in improving the quality of early childhood education and roles in the teaching process to educate parents. Participation of parents to their children s education is to provide basic education attitudes and basic skills such as religious education manners manners aesthetics compassion sense of security the basics to comply with regulations and inculcate habits. The purpose of this study were (1) describe the efforts in improving early childhood institutions parent participation in early childhood education (2) describe the level of parent participation in early childhood education. Kind research used is descriptive quantitative. The population in this study sample are 45 people with 45 people is by using total.Instrumen samples used in this study were questionnaire interview. Techniques used in data analysis (1) X100% (2) The survey results revealed that efforts are Directed early childhood institutions (Meeting) by 77.5% the percentage value can be categorized very well efforts are Undirected early childhood institutions (Publications) by 72.3% the percentage can be categorized as well. So we can conclude lembga ECD efforts in improving the effective participation of parents is uapaya early childhood institutions that are directed (meetings). Participation of parents in early childhood education is parent participation in providing infrastructure facilities and learning facilities by 83.1 percentage % it can be categorized as excellent motivating participation in learning is by the percentage of 81% it can be categorized as very kind participation in the facilitation of learning and playing a score that is the percentage of 78.9% it can be categorized as very good. So we can conclude that the level of parent participation is most effective is to provide infrastructure facilities and learning facilities. Based on these data the findings suggested (1) For Parent as the primary educator and the first should be more active in the activities held in school (meeting) and give more participation to early childhood education (2) Institute for Play Group Restu To extend the related activities of parenting education (3) Out of School Education Programs For results of this study can be used as contribution in the field of development of learning about early childhood education (4) Continue For Researchers who want to develop similar research should be developed with a broader scope of both variables or population thus can be used as reference for researchers the future.
