Program Studi S1 Pendidikan Teknik Elektro (PTE) setiap tahunya meluluskan tenaga kerja yang akan memasuki dunia kerja. Hal ini tentunya harus melihat segi kualitas dan kesiapan dari para lulusanya. Namun pada kenyataannya masih ada beberapa mahasiswa S1 PTE belum memiliki kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja diantaranya perilaku praktikum dan pengalaman praktik industri (PI). Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut maka dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku praktikum (X1) pengalaman praktik industri (X2) dan kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja (Y) serta mengungkap hubungan antara (1) (X1) dengan (Y) (2) (X2) dengan (Y) (3) (X1) dan (X2) secara simultan dengan (Y). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif korelasional. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu expose facto. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Teknik Elektro angkatan 2013 sejumlah 111 responden. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel terikat yaitu (X1) dan (X2) serta satu variabel bebas yaitu (Y). pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket atau kuisioner. Hasil uji reliabilitas instrumen (X1) (X2) dan (Y) dalam kategori tinggi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan korelasi parsial dan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X1) dan (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi rx1y 0 423 (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X2) dan (Y) dengan koefisien korelasi rx2y 0 305 (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X1) dan (X2) secara simultan dengan (Y) dengan nilai R 0 690 dan nilai F 48 974. Sumbangan efektif variabel (X1) 28 42% dan (X2) 19 17%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X1) dengan (Y) (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X2) dengan (Y) (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara (X1) dan (X2) secara simultan dengan Y. The quality and readiness of the graduates also become the important aspects for them. In fact some of undergraduate PTE students are not ready to face work life. Some of the factors that infulences the readiness to face the real work life are none other than practical work behavior and industrial practice experience. Related to that issue a research is conducted in order to decribe the than practical work behavior (X1) industrial practice experience (X2) and the readiness to face the real work life (Y) while also expose the correlation between (1) (X1) and (Y) (2) (X2) and (Y) (3) (X1) (X2) simultaneously to (Y). This research uses the approach of quantitative method using correlational descriptive design.The type of the research used is expose facto. Samples for this research are 111 undergraduate students of Electrical Engineering year 2013. There are two bounded variables of this research which are (X1) and (X2) also one free variable which is (Y). Questionnaires are distributed as the form of data collection. The instruments reliability level of (X1) (X2) and (Y) are high. For the data analysis technique the researcher uses partial correlation and double regressions. The results shows that (1) there are positive correlation and the significance between (X1) and (Y) with the correlation coefficient of rx1y 0 423 (2) there are positive correlation and the significance between (X2) and (Y) with the correlation coefficient of rx2y 0 305 (3) there are postive correlation and the significance of (X1) nad (X2) simultaneously with (Y) with the value of R 0.690 and the value of F 48 974. Effective contribution of variable (X1) 28 42% and varabel (X2) 19 17%.The conclusions of this research are (1) there are positive correlation and the significance between (X1) and (Y) (2) there are positive correlation and the significance between (X2) and (Y) (3) there are postive correlation and the significance of (X1) nad (X2) simultaneously with (Y).
