Kata Kunci keaktifan siswa project based learning e-modul Berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru produktif Multimedia dan praktik mengajar di SMKN 11 Malang faktor penyebab rendahnya keaktifan siswa kelas XI mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital antara lain tingkat pemahaman siswa metode dan media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Siswa tidak paham tentang materi yang sedang dipelajari dan kebiasaan siswa yang tidak pernah belajar. Pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang kurang tepat menjadi penyebab pembelajaran bersifat satu arah. Upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengembangkan keaktifan belajar siswa dapat diwujudkan melalui penggunaan berbagai macam variasi metode dan media pembelajaran. Tujuan pengembangan dan penelitian yaitu (1) mengembangkan media e-modul sebagai sumber belajar bermuatan PjBL untuk mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital Kelas XI program keahlian Multimedia (2) mengetahui tingkat kelayakan pengembangan e-modul dan (3) mengetahui tingkat keaktifan siswa dalam menggunakan media e-modul. Model pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan yaitu (1) analisis (2) desain (3) pengembangan (4) implementasi dan (5) evaluasi. Pada tahap desain ADDIE terdapat modifikasi dengan menambahkan pengembangan konten oleh Hamdani (2011). Validasi dan uji coba e-modul dilakukan dengan 5 tahap yaitu (1) validasi konten e-modul oleh ahli materi (2) validasi media e-modul oleh ahli media (3) uji coba kepada kelompok kecil (4) uji coba kelompok besar dan (5) keaktifan siswa dalam menggunakan e-modul mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital. Hasil pengembangan dan penelitian yaitu (1) validasi konten oleh ahli materi diperoleh 90 91% (2) validasi media oleh ahli media diperoleh 87 70% (3) uji coba kepada kelompok kecil diperoleh 84 86% dan (4) uji coba kepada kelompok besar diperoleh 91 44%. Berdasarkan pengamatan keaktifan siswa dalam menggunakan e-modul terdapat 23 siswa masuk dalam kelompok sedang dengan presentase 65 7% 10 orang siswa masuk dalam kelompok atas dengan persentase 28 6% dan 2 orang masuk dalam kelompok bawah dengan persentase 5 7%. Berdasarkan kriteria kelayakan menurut Akbar dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital sangat layak sehingga dapat digunakan disebarkan dan diproduksi. Keaktifan siswa dalam menggunakan e-modul masuk dalam kelompok sedang cenderung ke atas sehingga e-modul mata pelajaran Pengolahan Citra Digital dapat menumbuhkan keaktifan siswa. Keywords student participation project based learning e-module Based on the interviews that the researcher conducted with Multimedia productive teachers and teaching practice at SMK 11 Malang the factors which is causing a low participation of students XI grade subjects digital image processing is the level of the student understanding learning methods and the media used. The understanding of the material influenced the habits of students. Some efforts that the teacher can do to develop the students learning participation are by using a wide variety of learning methods and media. The use of variety methods and learning media can stimulate their thoughts feelings and a willingness to learn and create a learning environment according to the needs of students. The purpose of the development and research are (1) to develop media e-modules for digital image processing subjects in XI Grade of Multimedia skills program (2) determining the feasibility of the development of e-module subjects digital image processing with Project Based Learning (PjBL) and (3) determining the activity level of students of e-module subjects with PjBL digital image processing usage. The selected development model is by using ADDIE model through several stages namely (1) analysis (2) design (3) development (4) implementa-tion and (5) evaluation. In the ADDIE design stages there are modifications of Hamdani (2011) by adding content development. Validation and e-module test conducted with 5 stages such as (1) the content of e-module validation by material experts (2) validation of the e-module media by media experts (3) the try-out to a small groups (4) try-out to a large groups and (5) the students participation in e-module subjects digital image processing usage. The results of the research and development of e-module subjects with PjBL digital image processing that has been validated and tested is (1) the content of e-module validation by material experts obtained 90.91% (2) validation of the e-module media by media experts obtained 87.70% (3) a try-out from a small group obtained 83.47% and (4) the try-out of the large group obtained 91.44%. Based on the observations of students activity of e-modules usage there was 23 students in the group with a percentage of 65.7% categorized in the medium group 10 students categorized in the top group with a percentage of 28.6% and 2 students in the bottom group with a percentage of 5.7%. Based on the viability of e-module it can be concluded that e-module subjects of digital image processing is well worth making e-module can be used distributed and produced. The participation of the students in the use of e-modules can be concluded in medium until upward result so that e-module subjects digital image processing can be said as an alternative to increase the participation of the students.
