Proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Menggambar dengan Perangkat Lunak cenderung masih terfokus pada guru dan kurang terfokus pada siswa. Hal tersebut juga berdampak pada aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa ketidaksiapan siswa menerima materi dan melaksanakan tugas membuat prestasi belajar siswa rendah karena hanya memperoleh informasi berdasarkan materi yang disampaikan guru. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil pre-test yang diberikan kepada siswa. Dari 31 siswa yang mengikuti pre-test terdapat 26 (16 12%) siswa yang belum tuntas sedangkan yang tuntas hanya 5 siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Menggambar dengan Perangkat Lunak kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang (2) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang (3) meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Data aktivitas belajar diperoleh dari lembar observasi aktivitas belajar siswa serta lembar observasi kegiatan guru dengan penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning sedangkan data prestasi belajar siswa diperolah dari tes formatif yang dilaksanakan diakhir pembelajaran. Penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 6 tahapan yaitu (1) dimulai dengan pertanyaan essensial (2) mendesain rencana proyek (3) membuat jadwal (4) memonitor peserta didik memantau perkembangan proyek (5) menilai hasil (6) mengevaluasi pengalaman. Hasil penilitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning di kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang dapat dirumuskan dalam beberapa tahapan yaitu kegiatan awal (salam presensi kegiatan apersepsi penyampaian tujuan pembelajaran) kegiatan inti (pembentukan kelompok pemberian materi menjelaskan materi penugasan secara berkelompok melakukan evaluasi tugas dan penguatan oleh guru) dan kegitan penutup (kegiatan refleksi penyimpulan materi salam penutup) adanya peningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang. Ada peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa siswa kelas X TGB SMK Nasional Malang pada siklus II sebesar 38 73% dari siklus I. M.T Keywords Project Based Learning Learning Activities Learning Achievement. The learning process of Drawing by Software subject tends to be teacher- centered rather than student-centered. It affects to students learning activities and achievement students readiness to accept the materials and do the assignment and low students achievement. Those are due to the fact that students get information from materials delivered by teacher only. It is proved by the result of pre-test given to students. 26 (16.12%) out of 31 students who joined pre-test were not passed while only 5 students who passed pre-test. The aims of this study are (1) to find out the implementation of Project Based Learning model on Drawing by Software subject for X graders of TGB in SMK Nasional Malang (2) to improve the learning activities of X graders of TGB in SMK Nasional Malang and (3) to improve the learning achievement of X graders of TGB in SMK Nasional Malang through the implementation of Project Based Learning model. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) that is done on two cycles. The data of learning activities are obtained from observation sheet of students and teacher s learning activities by the implementation of Project Based Learning model while the data of students learning achievement are obtained from formative test which is done in the end of lesson. The implementation of Project Based Learning model on this study consists of 6 stages (1) started by essential questions (2) designing the project plan (3) creating the schedule (4) monitoring students and observing the project plan (5) assessing the result (6) evaluating the experiences. The research findings of this study showed that the implementation of Project Based Learning for X graders of TGB in SMK Nasional Malang could be explained in several steps i.e. opening activities (greetings checking attendance list apperception delivering the learning objective) whilst activities (creating group work giving materials explaining the materials giving assignment in group evaluating the assignment and reinforcement by the teacher) and closing activities (reflection task evaluation greetings) and there was improvement of the learning activities and achievement for X graders of TGB in SMK Nasional Malang. It was showed through the improvement of students learning completeness i.e. 38.73% on cycle II out of cycle I. In addition the improvement students learning completeness was in line to students learning activities that increased about 0.6% on cycle II out of cycle I.
