Berdasarkan hasil observasi di kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Singosari menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran masih berorientasi pada guru (teacher oriented). Selain itu apabila terdapat peserta didik yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah standar kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) guru tidak memberikan bantuan kepada peserta didik yang bersangkutan untuk memperbaikinya. Hal ini mengakibatkan kurang maksimalnya hasil belajar yang dicapai. Dari 28 peserta didik yang mengikuti pre-test terdapat 23 (85 8%) peserta didik yang belum tuntas. Tujuan yang dicapai adalah mendeskripsikan efektifitas penerapan pendekatan mastery learning untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik mendeskripsikan aktivitas peserta didik dan guru selama berlangsungnya proses pembelajaran Ilmu Ukur Tanah dengan menerapkan pendekatan mastery learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil tes tulis tugas mandiri dan lembar observasi aktivitas belajar peserta didik lembar observasi aktivitas guru serta penerapan pendekatan mastery learning. Data tersebut dianalisis lalu dibahas dan pada akhirnya dapat diambil suatu kesimpulan. Subyek penelitian menggunakan peserta didik kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Singosari yang terdiri dari 28 peserta didik. Penerapan mastery learningI dalampenelitian ini dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu (1) Orientasi (2) Penyajian (3) Latihan terstruktur (4) Latihan terbimbing dan (5) Latihan mandiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan mastery learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dan proses pembelajaran ilmu ukur tanah di kelas X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Singosari. Hal ini terlihat dari (1) Persentase ketuntasan pada pra-tindakan jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas sebesar 14 2% kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 89 3% dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 100%. Rata-rata nilai tugas mandiri yang diperoleh peserta didik pada siklus I adalah 94 31 kemudian meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 98 8. (2) Proses belajar pada siklus I didapat persentase sebesar 78 90% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 86 72%. (3) Aktivitas peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 77 5 % dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 92 5% (4) Aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 83 93% dan pada siklus II naik menjadi 89 28%. Study was conducted based on class observation in class 10th of TGB (Building Drawing Engineering) 3 SMK N (Public Vocational High School) 1 Singosari It indicated that in learning process the class was still teacher oriented. Moreover if there were students whose score was below the average of the Minimum Criteria of Mastery learning (KKM) the teacher did not assist the students to get a better score. It effected to the result which made the students outcomes were not optimal. There were 28 students took the pre-test which 23 (85 8%) of students did not pass the test. The aims of this test were to describe the effectiveness of the application mastery learning approach to improve students learning outcomes to describe students and teacher s activity during the learning process of Land Survey by applying the mastery learning approach. This research was Classroom Action Research consisting of two cycles. Research data was obtained from the result of written tests independent tasks and observation sheet of students activity teacher activity observation sheet and also the application of mastery learning approach. The data was analyzed and then discussed and in the end drawn into conclusion. The sampling of this research were students in class X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Singosari and the representative of the sampling were 28 students. The application of mastery learning approach in this research was done in some stages named (1) Orientation (2) Presentation (3) Structured test (4) Guided test and (5) Self-training. The result showed that by applying mastery learning as an approach could improve students learning and process outcome in learning Land Survey in class X TGB 3 SMK Negeri 1 Singosari. This could be seen from (1) completeness percentage of pre-action the number of passed students was 14 2% afterwards it rapidly increased in cycle I by total 89 3% and in cycle II was increased and became100%. The average score of independent tasks obtained by students in cycle I was 94 31 later increased to 98 8 in cycle II. (2) The outcome of learning process in cycle I was 78 90% and in cycle II rose to 86 72%. (3) The activity of students in cycle I was 77 5 % and in cycle II increased to 92 5% (4) Teachers activity in cycle I was 83 93% and in cycle II rose to 89 28%.
