Achmad Ali Wafa M.Pd Kata kunci Mind Mapping Think Pair Share Aktivitas Belajar Hasil Belajar Mengajar merupakan proses menanam pengetahuan kepada anak didik dengan suatu harapan terjadi proses pemahaman. Guru sebagai fasilitator bertanggung jawab untuk menciptakan dan membangkitkan kegiatan belajar yang efektif melalui perencanaan pembelajaran yang matang metode pembelajaran yang variatif proses pembelajaran yang menyenangkan serta media atau alat evaluasi yang baik. Metode pembelajaran adalah salah satu faktor yang penting untuk menentukan keberhasilan guru dalam mengajar apabila guru masih menggunakan metode konvensional seperti ceramah atau diskusi kelompok besar dianggap kurang mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa di dalam kelas serta belum mampu membuat siswa menjadi mandiri dalam belajar sehingga guru perlu menggunakan berbagai metode yang variatif untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diharapkan.Permasalahan yang ditemukan setelah dilakukan observasi adalah siswa cenderung pasif dan tidak fokus terhadap materi yang disampaikan terlihat pada saat guru memberikan kesempatan bertanya atau mengutarakan pendapat mengenai materi yang dibahas tetapi hanya siswa tertentu saja yang aktif dan antusias mengikuti pembelajaran. Temuan tersebut menggambarkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran kurang efektif sehingga berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa rendah. Diharapkan dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Think Pair Share (TPS) untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 5 di SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 3 pertemuan dan melalui 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan tindakan tahap pelaksanaan tindakan pengamatan dan tahap refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 5 yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari- Februari 2017. Dalam penelitian ini data yang diperoleh berupa data aktivitas dan hasil belajar. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar observasi tes catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 5 SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan persentase nilai aktivitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 68% meningkat menjadi 75% pada siklus II. Sedangkan hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa juga mengalami peningkatan. Hasil belajar ditunjukkan dengan nilai paska kegiatan pada siklus I sebesar 74 menjadi 84 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada siklus I sebesar 61% menjadi 86% pada siklus II. Disarankan kepada guru bidang studi ekonomi untuk menerapkan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Think Pair Share (TPS) sebagai salah satu alternatif model pembelajaran di kelas untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dan untuk peneliti yang lain untuk memperbaiki instrumen observasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan mengembangkan penelitian dengan menambah variabel penelitian selaian aktivitas dan hasil belajar tetapi juga meneliti seperti variabel motivasi berpikir kritis kreativitas dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dan Think Pair Share (TPS). Keywords Mind Mapping Think Pair Share Learning Activity Learning Outcomes Teaching is a sharing knowledge process to the students with an expectation that there is comprehension process. Teacher as a facilitator has a responsibility to create and build an effective learning teaching process by plan out lesson plan various learning method enjoyable learning process and good media or evaluation tool. Learning method is one of important factor that determine teacher successfulness in teaching when the teacher still implement conventional method such as communicative or discussion in a big group is considered less ability to enhance the students participation in the class and have no ability to make the students became independent yet. So the teacher need to implement some various method to reach the learning goal. The problem that was found after observation was students tend to passive and did not focus on the lesson that was taught it could be seen when the teacher gave a chance to ask or share their opinion towards the material there were only some students that active and enthusiastic followed the learning process. This founding described the learning quality was less effective so it affected to the Learning Outcomes of the students that were low. It was expected the learning method implementation Mind Mapping and Think Pair Share (TPS) could enhance the activity and students Learning Outcomes. The purpose of this research was to know the learning method implementation of Mind Mapping and Think Pair Share (TPS) to enhance the activity and Learning Outcomes in economics of XI IPS 5 students of SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. This study used descriptive qualitative approach with kind of Classroom Actin Research (CAR) that was done in 2 cycle. Every cycle was consist of 3 meetings and 4 steps that were planning the action implementing the action observing and reflecting. The subject of this research was XI IPS students that consist of 28 students. This research was done on January- February 2017. The data that was collected on this research were activity data and Learning Outcomes. The instrument that were used in this research were observation sheet test field notes and documentation. Research s result shown that there were enhancement on activity and Learning Outcomes of XI IPS 5 students of SMA Brawijaya Smart School Malang. It was shown from the enhancement of students activity score percentage on the cycle I was 68% enhanced became 75% on the cycle II. While students cognitive Learning Outcomess also enhanced. Learning Outcomes was shown by after activity score on the cycle Iwas 74 became 84 on the cycle II. It was suggested to the economics teacher to implement the learning method Mind Mapping and Think Pair Share (TPS) as one of alternative learning method in the class to enhance activity and students leaning result and for the other researcher to repair the observation s instrument that were used in this research and develop the research by adding research variable not only activity and Learning Outcomes but also another variable such as motivation critical thinking creativity by using the learning method Mind Mapping and Think Pair Share (TPS).
