Persepsi adalah pengamatan proses berpikit dan pengalaman yang sangat penting bagi suatu lembaga mengetahui persepsi orang tua peserta didik khususnya mengenai mutu yang telah diberikan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dan seperti apa penilaian orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan yang diselenggarakan oleh sekolah (Partanto 2001 591). Ekspektasi adalah harapan sangat penting pula diketahui bagi suatu lembaga mengenai harapan orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan yang seharusnya diselenggarakan oleh sekolah (Widagdho 1991 186). Hal ini perlu diketahui agar sekolah bisa memenuhi harapan orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu yang diinginkan untuk untuk menjaga eksistensi sekolah. Sebab apabila terpenuhinya harapan orang tua tentu orang tua akan merasa percaya terhadap sekolah. Kepercayaan orang tua peserta didik dapat diukur dari persepsi dan ekspektasinya. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan mengetahui tingkat ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan mengetahui tingkat kepercayaan orang tua peserta didik tentang SDN Purwodadi 03 dan untuk menemukan hubungan antara persepsi dan ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03. Penelitian ini mengkaji masalah tentang tingkat persepsi ekspektasi dan kepercayaan orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan serta keterkaitan antara persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03 keterkaitan antara ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03 dan keterkaitan antara persepsi dan ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan (2) mendeskripsikan ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan (3) mendeskripsikan kepercayaan orang tua peserta didik tentang SDN Purwodadi 03 (4) mencari keterkaitan antara persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03 (5) mencari keterkaitan antara persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03 dan (6) menemukan keterkaitan antara persepsi dan ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif korelasi ganda dengan variabel bebas persepsi (X1) dan ekspektasi (X2) serta variabel terikat kepercayaan (Y). Populasi penelitian berjumlah 143 orang yang terdiri dari orang tua peserta didik SDN Purwodadi 03. Jumlah sampel 105 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan formula Slovin dengan instrumen penelitian kuesioner. Menggunakan skala likert dengan 5 rentang jawaban. Teknik analisis yang dipilih ialah deskriptif dan korelasi ganda. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS 16.00 for windows. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan di Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Pasuruan berada pada kategori tinggi. Ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan di Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Pasuruan berada pada kategori tinggi. Kepercayaan orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu SDN Purwodadi 03 Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Pasuruan berada pada kategori sangat tinggi. Terdapat keterkaitan yang signifikan antara persepsi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03.Terdapat keterkaitan yang signifikan antara ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03. Terdapat keterkaitan yang signifikan antara persepsi dan ekspektasi orang tua peserta didik tentang mutu pendidikan dengan tingkat kepercayaannya terhadap SDN Purwodadi 03. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka saran yang dapat diberikan oleh peneliti antara lain yaitu bagi pengembang ilmu bidang manajemen Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) dan manajemen mutu dengan melihat hasil penelitian ini semoga semakin membantu mengembangkan keilmuan yang ada. Bagi Kepala SDN Purwodadi 03 dengan melihat hasil penelitian ini hendaknya sebagai motivasi untuk tetap menjaga serta meningkatkan mutu sekolah yang telah dipercaya orang tua peserta didik. Bagi komite SDN Purwodadi 03 hendaknya sebagai bahan evaluasi untuk meningkatkan mutu sekolah agar terus sesuai dengan harapan orang tua peserta didik. Bagi guru SDN Purwodadi 03 hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan bahan evaluasi untuk selalu menjaga serta meningkatkan pembelajaran di sekolah dan bagi mahasiswa Administrasi Pendidikan atau peneliti lain apabila ingin melakukan penelitian yang sejenis sebaiknya lebih dikembangkan lagi dengan subjek yang lebih luas dengan menambahkan masyarakat sekitar tokoh masyarakat atau tokoh agama di sekitar sekolah yang diteliti. Key Word perceptions of parents expectations of parents beliefs of the parents Perception is the observation the process of biting and experience which is very important for an institution to know the parents perceptions of learners especially about the quality that has been given to find out how far and what parents assessment of the quality of education organized by the school (Partanto 2001 591). Expectation is the hope it is also important to know for an institution about the parents expectation of the quality of education that should be held by the school (Widagdho 1991 186). It is important to know that the school can meet the parents expectations of the desired quality to maintain the school s existence. Because if the fulfillment of parents hope of course parents will feel confident about the school. The parents beliefs can be measured by their perceptions and expectations. Based on this study was conducted to determine the level of parents perceptions of the quality of education knowing the level of expectations of parents of learners about the quality of education knowing the level of parental beliefs of students about SDN Purwodadi 03 and to find the relationship between perceptions and expectations of parents Learners about the quality of education with their belief in SDN Purwodadi 03. This study examines the problems of the level of perception expectation and belief of parents learners about the quality of education as well as the relationship between parents perceptions of the quality of education and their belief in SDN Purwodadi 03 the relationship between parents expectation of the quality of education and belief Against SDN Purwodadi 03 and the correlation between the perception and expectation of learners parents about the quality of education with their belief in SDN Purwodadi 03. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the parents perceptions of the quality of education (2) to describe the parents expectation of the quality of education (3) to describe the parents beliefs about SDN Purwodadi 03 (4) to find the link between Perceptions of parents of learners about the quality of education with their beliefs in SDN Purwodadi 03 (5) looking for relevance between parents perceptions of the quality of education with their belief in SDN Purwodadi 03 and (6) finding the link between the perceptions and expectations of parents of learners about Quality of education with a level of confidence in SDN Purwodadi 03. This research type is descriptive double correlation with independent variable of perception (X1) and expectation (X2) and dependent variable of trust (Y). The study population was 143 people consisting of parents of students of SDN Purwodadi 03. The sample size was 105 people. Sampling technique using Slovin formula with questionnaire research instrument. Using Likert scale with 5 ranges of answers. The analytical technique chosen is descriptive and multiple correlation. Data analysis was done by using SPSS 16.00 for windows program. The conclusions of this study are parents perceptions of the quality of education in Purwodadi District Pasuruan regency is in the high category. Expectation of parents of learners about the quality of education in Purwodadi District Pasuruan Regency is in the high category. Student parents belief about the quality of SDN Purwodadi 03 Purwodadi District Pasuruan Regency is in very high category. There is a significant relationship between the parents perceptions of the quality of education with the level of confidence in the SDN Purwodadi 03.Terdapat significant relationship between parents expectations of students about the quality of education with a degree of confidence in the SDN Purwodadi 03. Based on these results the suggestions can be given by researchers among others namely for developers of public relations management science and quality management by looking at the results of this research may be more helpful to develop existing scholarship. For the Head of SDN Purwodadi 03 by looking at the results of this study should be a motivation to maintain and improve the quality of schools that have been trusted parents of learners. For the SDN Purwodadi 03 committee it should be an evaluation material to improve the quality of the school to keep up with the expectation of parents of learners. For teachers of SDN Purwodadi 03 the results of this study are expected to be used as an evaluation material to always maintain and improve learning in schools and for students of Educational Administration or other researchers if you want to do similar research should be further developed with a broader subject by adding the surrounding community Community leaders or religious leaders around the school studied.
