Abstract

Keyword Learning blog motivation of study result of study The development of media based on internet has a considerable potention in changing the way of an individual to learn. The media based on internet is blog. Blog will able to bring learning process enjoyable creative and unweariness will motivate students in learning so that it will be earned an optimum result of study. Keller have arrange principals of motivation can be implemented in learning process. Attention relevance confidence and satisfaction or ARCS is the principals of motivation that use to improve student s motivation. This research is a population research of 61 students of XI KU SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Kepanjen. The research method used is experimental research. The data is collected with questioner (list of questions) and documentation method. The technical analysis used is compare two means of independent s samples test analysis. The result of this research prove that (I) the using of blog to improve student s motivation of study with significancy value 0 279 0 05. And (2) the using of blog to improve student s result of study with significancy value 0 000 0 05. Advise which can be given are (1) the result of this can be considerable matter for the school to improve learning s system and facilities of school so that it will be occurred the improve of learning s quality which is innovation and creative (2) the teacher should improve the ability of teaching which is more creative using media of learning which is more innovative to improve student s motivation of study so that the result of study can be reached optimally. (4) for the next similar research the measurement of student s motivation of study have to be done before and after the treatment given and the research should not be done in one school so that it can be earned to comparative result which can be generalized.
