p This research aims to explain the influence of capital spending investment and workforce on the gross regional domestic product in the processing industry sector across 34 provinces in Indonesia. The method employed for data collection involves conducting a documentation study. The data utilized is panel data covering the 34 provinces in Indonesia from 2017 to 2021. The method employed is quantitative descriptive with panel data regression analysis using STATA 14 software. The research findings indicate that capital expenditure investment and workforce when tested collectively (F-test) have a significant inluence on the gross regional domestic product in the processing industry sector. The partial t-test results suggest that capital expenditure has a positive but not significant influence on the gross regional domestic product in the processing industry sector. Nonetheless the variables of investment and workforce indicate a positive and significant relationship with the gross regional domestic product in the processing industry sector. /p
