p Poverty forms a complex problem with no clear end in sight. The factors involved in poverty are interconnected. The objective of this research is to identify the variables influencing the poverty rate. The independent variables in this research include Gross Regional Domestic Product Open Unemployment Rate Life Expectancy Average Length of Schooling and Population Growth Rate. The quantitative method employed in this research involves multiple linear regression using panel data and the Random Effect Model (REM) approach. The secondary data used in this research is in the form of panel data consisting of time series data for the period from 2017 to 2021 and cross-sectional data for 34 provinces in Indonesia. This research demonstrates results indicating that the variables of Gross Regional Domestik Product and Average Length of Schooling do not have a significant influence. The variables of Open Unemployment Life Expectancy and Population Growth Rate have a significant impact on the poverty rate. /p
