Listening skills are fundamental aspect of language proficiency particularly in higher education. The increasing levels makes listening skills more challenging that is critical listening. Thompson et al. (2004) design the theory of Integrative Listening Model align with the analytical aspects of listening skills comprehend interpret and evaluate. The importance of critical listening can improve others rsquo language skills. However this crucial role has less attention and the scholars have labelled listening skills as ignored skills. This issue makes the lecturers design and incorporate new innovative digital learning tools in their teaching practice. Discord is new favorable digital learning tools prior studies only focused on measuring the effectiveness of Discord. But the portraying of the implementation of Discord in the context of a critical listening course is very rare. As a result many educators are still hesitant about the stage of Discord rsquo s implementation in this context as well as student rsquo s voices in facilitating them in critical listening courses. Consequently this huge gap leads the further exploration of the implementation of Discord and students rsquo voices of their improvement of listening skills. The implementation of Discord will be captured as unique phenomenon in the students of International Class Program at Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University Malang regarding this new program still need adaptation and adoption of new teaching learning process. The primary aims are to portray the implementation of Discord as a tool and dig further the students rsquo voices to enhance listening proficiency skills. To gather this meaningful data descriptive qualitative design involves the instruments of classroom observation checklist field notes and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). Additionally this study focused on the 20 students enrolled in the International Class Program at Maulana Malik Ibrahim Islamic State University Malang. The findings are aligned with the analytical aspects in listening skill by Thomson et al. (2004) in the comprehension level sharing the materials that align with the course objectives foster students rsquo readiness. Creating engaging materials are key to enhance the students rsquo curiosity in concentrating the materials continuously. The design of systematic and enjoyable offline and online learning classes has influenced students rsquo interest. For interpretation level features of video conference and brake out room increase the dynamic conversation. Also incorporating the audiovisual content could mitigate the misinterpretation and increasing student rsquo s interpretation level to obtain the message deeply and draw the inference of the content. Evaluation the immediate feedback provided during video conferences on Discord is a valuable aspect of the learning experience. This real time feedback allows students to discuss and evaluate the content. However the intense feedback could disturb by unstable Wi-Fi connections. The second findings Discord facilities the systematic materials allow features for supporting offline and online class design the new interactive educational agendas and immediate response in Discord facilitates dynamic discussions. However the drawbacks could lead the distraction.
