Skripsi Jurusan Manajemen Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Malang. Pembimbing Lohana Juariyah S.E. M.Si. Kata Kunci Motivasi Intrinsik Motivasi Ekstrinsik Kepuasan Kerja Kepuasan kerja merupakan sikap emosional senang dan bangga terhadap pekerjaannya. Motivasi intrinsik dan motivasi ekstrinsik merupakan dua faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui bagaimana kondisi kepuasan kerja motivasi intrinsik motivasi ekstrinsik karyawan cafe dan resto di Kota Malang (2) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi intrinsik terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan cafe dan resto di Kota Malang (3) untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi ekstrinsik terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan cafe dan resto di Kota Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis explanatory. Teknik merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan variabel independen motivasi intrinsik (X1) motivasi ekstrinsik(X2) dan variabel dependen kepuasan kerja (Y). penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner dengan teknik sampling yaitu multistage sampling yang meliputi cluster sampling dan proportioned random sampling diperoleh 170 responden karyawan cafe dan resto di Kota Malang. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut motivasi intrinsik memiliki rata rata sebesar 4 28 termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik motivasi ekstrinsik sebesar 4 18 dan masuk dalam kriteria baik dan kepuasan kerja sebesar 4 19 dan masuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil analisis menggunakan SPSS FOR Windows versi 21.0 menunjukkan bahwa (1) Motivasi Intrinsik berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0 000 (nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0 05) artinya H1 diterima (2) Motivasi Ekstrinsik berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dapat dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0 000 (nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0 05) artinya H2 diterima. Pada penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan menambahkan variabel lain karena terdapat beberapa variabel lain yang memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan kerja karyawan seperti gaya kepemimpinan kinerja karyawan. Keyword Intrinsic Motivation Extrinsic Motivation Job Satisfaction Job satisfaction is an emotional attitude happy and proud of his work. Intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation are the two factors which affect the job satisfaction. This study aims to (1) find out how the condition of job satisfaction intrinsic motivation extrinsic motivation of employees cafe and resto in Malang City (2) to know whether there is a positive influence and significant intrinsic motivation to job satisfaction of employees cafe and resto in Malang City 3) to find out whether there is a positive and significant effect of extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction of employees of cafe and resto in Malang City. This research is use the quantitative research design with explanatory type. Technique is a quantitative research with independent variable intrinsic motivation (X1) extrinsic motivation (X2) and dependent variable of job satisfaction (Y). This research uses sampling as technique in collecting data including multisatage sampling which consists of cluster sampling and proportioned random sampling. The data was taken from 170 respondents which are the employe of cafe and restaurant in Malang City. The research was conducted to find out the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation on job satisfaction of employees of Cafe and Restaurant in Malang. Quantitative research was chosen as the method in this study. A total of 170 people were sampled as as sample of a total population of 202 people. This research instrument using likert scale and sampling technique used is multistage sampling which includes cluster sampling and proportionate random sampling. Data were collected by distributing questionnares to respondents thus it analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. In this research three are two variable that is free and bound variable. Intrinsic motivation (X1) and extrinsic motivation (X2)are free variable used while employee job satisfactionas dependent variable. From result of data analysis show that (1) result of validity and reliability of intrinsic extrinsic and job satisfaction is valid and reliable because corrected total correlation value is bigger than 0 6 (2) the average intrinsic motivation is 4 28 and it included in very good criteria where as extrinsic motivation is 4 18 and job satisfaction is 4 19 where both are good.extrinsic motivation is 4 18 and job satisfaction is 4 19 where both are good. The result of analysis by using SPSS ver 21 0 software obtained (1) intrinsic motivation have positive and significant influence to job satisfaction can be proved with significance value equal to 0 000 (significance value 0 05) it has a meaning that H1 is acceptable (2) extrinsic motivation positively A significant impact on job satisfaction (significant value 0 05) means H2 is accepted. This research is expected to be developed further by adding other variables such as leadership style and job performance that related to employee job satisfaction.
