The reported study aimed to analyze the correlation between Extensive Reading (ER) habits and reading comprehension of EFL students of one public university in Malang East Java Indonesia. The participants of this study were 137 first-year students majoring in English Language Education who were enrolled in an ER course during their first semester of 2022/2023 academic year. This study used the correlational design to analyze the relationship between two variables i.e. ER habits and reading comprehension. Students history logs in the XReeading platform were used to collect data on the students reading habits and comprehension. Students reading habits in this study are specifically divided into four categories based on the number of words they read in XReading namely poor fair moderate and good reading habits. The result of the study showed that most students had good reading habits. Their reading comprehension levels were based on the quiz grade scores recorded in XReading every time the students did the reading comprehension quiz once they finished reading a book. The results of the data analysis also showed that the majority of the students had good reading comprehension skills. Furthermore the research finding revealed a weak positive correlation between students extensive reading habits and reading comprehension with a Pearson correlation of 0.208 and a significance level of 0.015 at 0.05 of significant level.
