This study is aimed at investigating teachers perceptions of the use of video materials in non-formal education. The respondents of this study are 24 NFE teachers who use video in their classes. Twenty-four respondents answered the questionnaire consisting of 15 items on a five-point Likert Scale divided into two categories opinion and compatibility. To further clarify the teachers perceptions an in-depth interview was conducted. Based on the respondents responses the percentage for teachers rsquo opinion on the benefit of video materials is 83.48% and 82.9% for teachers rsquo opinion on the compatibility with the topic of the video materials and the type of the class. It can be stated that the teachers favor using video in NFE classes. Based on an interview the use of video materials also positively affects the motivation and participation of their students. It is therefore recommended that future researchers could examine various areas that intersect with Non-Formal Education (NFE) with regards to the teaching-learning strategies. This phenomena need to be investigated further in order to get more comprehensive research results on the benefit of using video materials in the Indonesian education system.
