As foreign language English speaking is hardly done by Indonesian students. Therefore TikTok nowadays is often used for English speaking learning. This research is aimed at analyzing the students perception towards TikTok rsquo s role for improving speaking skill of seventh and eighth graders of SMPN 17 Malang. This research uses descriptive analysis method and analyzed quantitatively. The instrument of this research is questionnaire filled with Likert scale from Strongly Agree (5) Agree (4) Neutral (3) Disagree (2) and Strongly Disagree (1). The respondents of this research reached 240 respondents. This research found that (1) some students usually access TikTok in less than 1 hour 1-5 hours/day 6-10 hours/day and more than 10 hours/day (2) Students believe that TikTok is one of media that is easy to access whenever and wherever they want to enhance their pronunciation and vocabularies as the basic for English speaking fluency. In addition students also believe that TikTok enables students to have various experiences to expose them in English for speaking learning. Further research needs to involve various of respondents and qualitative data using interview.
