This study is aimed to analyze the results of comparing two different groups towards using YouTube videos to increase students rsquo listening skills. This study was a quasi-experimental and was conducted from 23rd January to 25th February 2023. The subjects of this study were 72 students from Multimedia and Teknik Komputer Jaringan of SMK Negeri 5 Malang. This study used pre-test and post-test as the measurement of students rsquo listening skills. The experimental group and control group was chosen randomly by using coin flip from the eleventh grader. The teaching and learning section were given fully to the teacher. The treatment used in the experimental group was using videos taken from YouTube while in the control group was by using the conventional method using audio-only for the listening class. The media used for the listening test was taken from YouTube. The data were analyzed by using a comparison of the mean from both the experimental and control groups rsquo scores using T-test. The result of this study showed that using T-test analysis in SPSS the mean of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group. It can be concluded that implementing YouTube videos as the media is more effective to improve students rsquo listening skills than using audio-only. It is recommended for English teachers to use the YouTube in teaching and learning progress in class to improve the students rsquo listening skills.
