Vocabulary is an important aspect of English learning and must be taught to improve language skills. With a broad vocabulary individuals will be easy to convey their thoughts emotions and ideas precisely thereby encouraging clearer and more impactful interactions with others. In this qualitative research with pre-experiment design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design model the researcher used a mobile game app called Wordscapes by PeopleFun Studio to improve students vocabulary mastery. the research was conducted with 30 of the 9th graders students as the sample. According to the study s findings the mean score from the pre-test was 68.67 and the mean score from the post-test was 81.20. Wilcoxon Signed Rank test was then used to find out if there was a significant difference in students rsquo vocabulary mastery before and after the treatment. The results show that students rsquo vocabulary mastery significantly improved after playing Wordscapes shown by the rejection of the null hypothesis. Therefore Wordscapes could potentially improve the ninth grade students rsquo vocabulary mastery.
