Vocabulary is a fundamentally important part of language development. When students are motivated and interested they can learn vocabulary more effectively. This study was carried out to determine whether those three variables correlate. This study employed a quantitative methodology. The respondents were 68 students of English Department batch 2020 State University of Malang. A set of questionnaire and test was used as the instrument in this study. The questionnaire consists of 10 questions about students rsquo motivation and 10 questions about students rsquo interests and the vocabulary test consists of 36 questions. The data were analyzed using a statistical test with the SPSS 25 software program to determine the correlation of the three variables. The findings revealed that the study rsquo s outcome has significant correlation between learning motivation and vocabulary mastery learning interest and vocabulary mastery learning motivation learning interest and vocabulary mastery. Besides the researchers suggest to future researchers to use other methods add factors other than interest and motivation in learning adjust the vocabulary test to the level of the respondent by arranging or adapting the vocabulary test and add about both intrinsic and extrinsic motivation to gain more comprehensive understanding of the research topic.
